Vas by K. Webster & Ker Dukey  Publication Date: January 7, 2019  Genres: Adult, Contemporary, Dark, Mafia, Romance The Volkov name is one I longed for.  Their household is one I grew up in, but not as an equal—as a maid’s son.  This didn’t stop me from becoming a man to be reckoned with.  But even with my rightful name finally given to me, I still feel adrift.  Until her.    Everything I did was for acceptance.  Everything I lost brought me to my family.  To this life.  To her.    I fought for my status.  I fought for my sisters.  And I will fight to the death for my angel.   She has shown me there is light in our pitch-black world.  That the stars can’t shine without the darkness of night.  She is the stars, and I am the sky in which she shines.   There is evil lurking in the shadows we create.  The corruption and depravities of the First Families have become toxic and are infecting us all from within.  Games have been

~**~ ARC Review: Deal with the Devil (Forge Trilogy #1) by Meghan March ~**~

***5 Stars*** Aaaaannnnddd now to wait how many days for Luck of the Devil to drop on the Kindle??? Too many, but such is the downside of devouring this baby in no time flat. Something that isn’t a surprise when it comes to reading Meghan March book, but one that is quite distressing when that book is only the first in a trilogy and I KNOW I won’t be getting the next one...well...now. But on to the very vague and non spoilery review (which you all knew was coming). Jericho is all kinds of Alpha AF nummyness. I mean the man is so confident/arrogant/self assured that those trait alone had me melting, but then you find out (Kindasorta) about his past and that only kicks things up a notch. As for her, his “prey”. She’s definitely got moxie. She’s intelligent, sassy and determined and is loyal down to her bones. Their journey thus far is quite interesting, smexy as all get out (of course) and things are a little...convoluted, but despite all the crazy going on around them

~**~ ARC Review: Demon’s Mercy (Dark Protectors #9) by Rebecca Zanetti ~**~

***5 ‘#TeamLogan’ Stars*** Ever since meeting Logan and Garrett in Wicked Ride I have had a huge, HUGE, book boyfriend crush on them both. I mean, I seriously ADORE both of them, so to say I did a happy dance when I found out that Logan was getting his HEA is an understatement and I was not disappointed. I will admit that there were moments of huge eye rolls and wanting to pull out my “bang head here” sign and use it, but I loved it all and wanted more. I’m going to sound like a broken record, but I ADORED Logan. He is all kinds of Alpha AF/Book Boyfriend goodness. Protective, stubborn and deadly (when it’s called for) and all kinds of sweet and smexy, the male is kind of everything. Mercy....Here’s the thing with Mercy, I loved her, I did, but dear lord did she try my patience. I mean, I can’t really hate on her because she is so steadfast in her beliefs, and she comes by them honestly, but man...she tried me. Thankfully she is sweet, snarky and intelligent and definitely ke

~**~ ARC Review: Sealed in Strength (Ravage MC Rebellion #3/Crow & Rylynn Trilogy) by Ryan Michele ~**~

***5 ‘That Was The End’ Stars*** This book was everything. It was. It was all kinds of crazy, chaotic, sweet and smexy goodness with a huge dose of heart mixed in that had me devouring it in no time flat (about 2 hrs give or take a few minutes) and has me needing more of the Ravage MC family as a whole because this one took things to a whole nother level with all of them. Rylynn is pretty much the gold standard of girl crush for me. I know I’ve said this before, and I’m being a damn broken record, but I adore her. She has it all: intelligence, heart and a strength of will that puts most people to shame. She really is the total package. And Crow, the man is all kinds of alpha AF goodness. Protective, honest and loyal. He hit all the right buttons with me. As for their journey. It’s been an uphill battle for them, and things definitely aren’t wine and roses in this one for them either, but I love how they fought for each other and gave as good as they got. The chemistry be

~**~ ARC Review: The Secret to Dating Your Best Friend’s Sister by Meghan Quinn ~**~

***5 ‘Milkshakes & Tube Socks’ Stars*** Ok. Question first? Who else winced while reading steps one through three?? Anyone? Anyone? Cause I sure as shit did. Because even I knew that the pitfalls could be varied and many and bring about all kinds of issues, but even as I was wincing I was already needing to see how everything played out with Bram and Julia and I wasn’t disappointed in anyway. I winced, I laughed, I rolled my eyes and I swooned as these two danced around and towards each other ~ slowly, Oh, so, slowly ~ and was kind of unhappy that there were no more words to read because I really wanted to spend more time with both of them and find out what else they’d be getting up to. I loved Julia and Bram. Julia is that compelling mix of shy, thoughtful sassy and snarky with a good dose of an extremely observant wallflower (most of the time). She finds solace in facts and logic, which sometimes blind her to the most obvious things and yet, she isn’t removed from

~**~ ARC Review: Nightchaser (Endeavor #1) by Amanda Bouchet ~**~

***3.5 Stars*** I find myself in a bit of a conundrum with this one. Overall, I really enjoyed the book. I thought the world building was very well done. There are various cultures and statuses amongst those who inhabit this world and each place has it’s own flavor that gave the world as a whole a depth that made it feel real. And this extended to the various characters that we met along the way. Some were more fleshed out than others, which is to be expected, but those who were close with Tess were unique and I really loved spending time with them ~ especially Jax, he’s my fav outside of Bonk. But then comes there is that situation that brought about the conundrum. Tess and Shade. See, I actually like Tess and Shade. They have vibrant and complex personalities and have both been through more than most can imagine. My issue is that I’m just not feeling them as a couple *winces and ducks incase anything is thrown at my head* I don’t know what it is because I have no issue w

~**~ ARC Review: Fourkeeps (Ever After Duet #2) by Jayne Rylon ~**~

***4 Stars*** Ahhhhh...there it is! That “thing” I needed more of in the first book! (And no it wasn’t more smexy times with them all ~ though that did happen as well *wink*) It was seeing them connect and finally do something about the attraction/chemistry/connection they have going on between them. *does an internal happy dance* So, this one starts off right where Fourplay ended and things go from 0 to 100 in no time flat in every way possible. We finally get Kari, Ford, Josh and Brady together, working through their wants, desires and hang ups and I loved seeing them deal with the good, bad and ugly that comes with being in a poly relationship. They all had their moments where I wanted to reach out and smack some sense into them, but I really like where they were at in the in end. As for the issues going on with Kari, things definitely got heavier and crazier, and there were some moments that had me going “Whoa!” but they were situations that could/can happen IRL and I
