~**~ ARC Review: The Two Week Arrangement (Penthouse Affair #1) by Kendall Ryan ~**~

***4 Stars*** I do love me a good office romance and when you add in the whole single parent thing and I’m pretty much sold on giving it a go, so diving into this baby was a no brainer. And it had some really fun, smexy and heartwarming moments, but on the flip side there were also moments that had me rolling my eyes in frustration and wanting to reach through the kindle to Gibbs smack the characters, I’m saving my thoughts on both Presley and Dom since this baby ends on a cliffy. I have to admit I waffled over my rating, but in the end I couldn’t deny that I did enjoy the book overall and I do want to see how everything works out, so I went with the higher side in the end and am looking forward to the conclusion of their journey. ~ Copy provided by the author & voluntarily reviewed ~ Dear Sexy AF Intern, I know you don't particularly care that I'm the CEO of this company, and you're just an intern. I also know you're not impressed by my power or m

~**~ ARC Review: Puppy Love (Forever Home #1) by Lucy Gilmore ~**~

***4 ‘Bubbles’ Stars*** The cover made me curious, but it was the blurb that hooked me and I have to say this really was a cute read that kept me smiling all the way through until the end. I loved Harrison and Sophie. Harrison is something of an enigma. He is a grump and wants to be left alone ~ which means he tends to give very short and to the point answers ~ but he also does this verbal vomit thing that ends up getting him in trouble. But regardless of the walls he’s built around him, the man has a good heart and a softer center than many would ever believe. Sophie was a lot of fun. Bright, sassy, snarky and playful. She’s had it rough, but hasn’t let that stop her from living. I loved her determination and how she saw outside the box and followed her gut, even when others doubted her. Sophie and Harrison’s journey to their HEA was unexpected and yet highly enjoyable. I’d love to go into the particulars, but then it would ruin the uniqueness of their journey, but what

~**~ ARC Review: The Barista’s Beloved by Rebecca Norinne & Jamaila Brinkley ~**~

***4 Stars*** This was a sweet, cute, funny though somewhat frustrating friends to lovers romance that kept me turning the pages to see just how Ben and Maeve would overcome their own issues and get their HEA. I really liked Ben and Maeve, I did, but boy did these two get in their own ways constantly. Ben is a good guy, but one who is lost in the man he once was and can’t seem to grasp that he can change and be more than he once was. Maeve is sharp, sassy and has a kind and generous heart. She doesn’t necessarily have a bleeding heart complex, but does tend to lose herself in those good deeds when she doesn’t want to face something head on. Ben and Maeve mad their journey to their HEA really rough on themselves. First by drawing lines to save themselves (and each other) and then by tripping over their own feet when anything that they deemed ‘more than being friends’ came up. It was funny and frustrating all the same time, but once they stepped over the line with each oth

~**~ ARC Review: Desperate Measures (Wicked Villains #1) by Katee Robert ~**~

***5 Stars*** I’m a huge fan of retellings/stories based on fairytales/myths/legends, so when Katee Robert announced that she was going to go a step further and shake things up by twisting things around a bit and giving the villains a chance at a HEA, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on the series and she did not disappoint! This was dark, smexy, funny and filled with all kinds of goodness that had me wanting more even when there were no more words to read! I adored Jafar and Jasmine. Jasmine was all kinds of calculating alpha AF male goodness and had a brand of ‘evil’ I could definitely get behind. And while his heart may lean more towards the darker side, that heart also felt more than anyone could imagine. Jasmine is one of those characters whose evolution was one I enjoyed. She is all kinds of sassy and has a penchant for pushing limits, at least as far as she was able to, but she was also a strong woman and watching as she finally grabbed hold of that strength and made it

~**~ ARC Review: Vow of Silence by Melynda Price ~**~

***4 Stars*** I’ve enjoyed this authors works, which ranged from being about MMA fighters to a Surf god, so when I saw that she was putting out a book set in the Amish world, a world which fascinates me on all levels, I was all in and I have to say that I loved every second of it. Everything from the characters to finding out who the killer was kept me turning the pages until there were no more words to read. I loved Josiah and Hannah. Josiah is a good, honorable man who really was born to be a protector of the innocent. He may have left the faith, but he still holds strong to the tenets he was raised with. Hannah is a strong woman who loves her faith and her family with everything in her. But while she truly believes in her culture, she feels conflicted where her heart is concerned since it wants more than what it’s being told it can/should have. Hannah and Josiah’s second chance journey to their HEA was one I really enjoyed. It was apparent from the first time they
