***5 ‘You Play, I Play’ Stars***
Ok, I almost lost the kindle there for a sec either to death by freezer or death by wall, but thankfully that was avoided and I absolutely loved how this chapter for Viper and Halo ended up working out for them.
I still adore Viper and Halo, that hasn’t changed, and I thoroughly enjoyed watching as they navigated what they were becoming to each other. I loved seeing Halo’s strength and determination come through as he not only figured out the music business, but what he wanted, and what he was willing to accept when it came to Viper. And as for Viper, he is still all kinds of cynical alpha af smexy male, but those moments of sincere vulnerability made me fall for him even more. And as for the smexy...lemme just say that they are simply nuclear!
As much as I love and adore Halo and Viper, I’m also feeling all kinds of love for Killian, Slade and Jagger. These guys are so much fun in this one and I loved getting to know them just a little better. And while that ending doesn’t fall in the “cliffy from hell” category, it still has me making grabby hands at it because of all the goodness I know is coming my way.
