~**~ Release Blitz for Passing Notes (Teacher’s Lounge #1) by Nora Everly w/ Review ~**~

***5 Stars*** It took me a minute to realize/remember just who Clara was, but as I went back through my other reviews, I was all kinds of thrilled that one of the supporting characters I really wanted to know more about was getting her own HEA, and though there were moments of frustration, I loved Clara and Nick’s journey and how they finally got their HEA. With as much as Clara and Nick drove me batshitcrazy at times (which I fully understood why) I really did love them. Clara is a force. She is in a weird place in her life and working through quite a few issues and she can be a bit ragey but I loved how she got all She-hulk protective when someone she loved needed help. Nick is a sweetheart. He’s juggling kids, work and just life in general but is also charming and determined in the best of ways. Their journey to their HEA is filled with all kinds of push and pull and I’ll admit that there were times when the frustration levels with the both of them were high, but they both have t

~**~ Release Blitz for Stage Smart (Work for It #8) by Aly Stiles w/ Review ~**~

***4 Stars*** I knew going into this book that I’d probably have some sort of whiplash, whether it was because of Val and Larinda or Chad (IYKYK) and I did but I also found that there were some funny and heartwarming moments that kept me turning the pages to see Val and Larinda get the HEA they both deserved. I really liked Val and Larinda. Larinda is a sweetheart who doesn’t always see just how strong she is. Val is a really good guy who hasn’t had the easiest life and at times lets the demons of his past run roughshod over his life. Their journey to their HEA was definitely an interesting one with a lot of ups and downs and situations that made my head spin at times, but I liked the chemistry and flow between them and how they got to know each other better as the book progressed and found that they could have the life they never even thought to dream of. This was a fun read and I really liked catching up with Paige and Nash and seeing how their own HEA was working out. And then th

~**~ Release Blitz for Nun Too Soon (Bad Habit Book Club #1) by Lissa Sharpe w/ Review ~**~

***4 Stars*** The title was the hook and I’m always down with checking out a new to me/debut author, so I figured why not and I have to say that it was an overall enjoyable read for me that has me interested in seeing where the characters lives we got to meet will go in the future. As for Helen and Thad. I loved Helen. She’s shy and sweet and yet she is determined to step outside the whole “good girl” label and figure out just who she wants to be now that she’s taken the habit off and I loved watching her grow into her own skin. Thad…here’s the thing. I liked him. His backstory was interesting and I understood why he did the things he did and felt the way he did, but the urge to Gibbs smack him was strong. So to say that I got whiplash from their journey is an understatement because the push/pull was STRONG, and I’ll admit that there were moments where I was like ~ why bother? But I also wanted to see Helen get her HEA and Thad to take his head out of his booty…which I did get in the

~**~ Release Blitz for Red Kingdom (Fairy Tales Retelling #2) by Rachel Demeter w/ Review ~**~

***5 Stars*** Little Red Riding Hood isn’t one of the fairytales I tend to gravitate to, but after reading this book, I’m more than happy to change that. While it did take me a bit to get into the story once I did, I was all in with the characters, the world and following along as Rowan and Blanchette navigate through their new circumstances. I loved Rowan and Blanchette. Both have a strong sense of honor and duty and despite everything they do or do not do, care deeply for those that look to them for guidance and care. What I really liked was how the author showed us who these two were by their actions and thoughts, which made for the times when things were not so good understandable  because I could see how similar they were at their very core. Their journey to their HEA is a rough one, but they both had a lot to work through…a lot…but once they truly see who the other is, all bets are off. Now it does take awhile for them to act on their mutual attraction, but once they do, it fel

But when the tattooed stranger showed up unexpectedly at my new job, he made it clear that once wasn’t going to be enough for him.
