~**~ Release Blitz for Sheriff’s Secret (Brig’s Ferry Bay #1) by K Webster w/ Review ~**~

From USA Today bestselling author K Webster comes a
steamy, emotional, enemies-to-lovers small-town MM romance!

The past was all he could see...until him.

When you're the sheriff of Brigs Ferry Bay, certain things are expected of you.
Marry a local girl, settle down, have a few kids. You know, the small-town dream.
But I've got a secret I'm terrified will get out.

I'm gay.
Not bi. Not curious. Not confused.
Just gay.
So, settling for that dream won't be happening.

If this secret gets out, the people I serve and protect, especially my father, won't be accepting.

I'm not brave like my high school sweetheart, Kian.
The day he came out was the day I had to let him go, and with it, love.

I've done a great job of pretending I'm perfectly fine being single. Until a villainous and annoyingly charming new B&B owner, Dante Kincaid, rolls into town. The spark between us is electric and undeniable. He wants to give me a taste of what he has to offer, and better yet, he vows to be discreet. I'm too selfish to refuse.

But my secret is still a heavy burden, leaving me handcuffed to expectations and unable to fully grasp what I want--him. History has a way of repeating itself, but this time around, with Dante, it'll hurt a lot worse.

I have to decide if I'm going to let love slip away again or if I'm going to finally fight for it.

Brigs Ferry Bay is a steamy MM romance series.
Fall in love with the charming small-town gay romances of Brigs Ferry Bay.

***4.5 Stars***

When this book was announced, I instantly started making grabby hands at it and did a happy dance when it landed on the Kindle. So when I dove in I was all kinds excited, though I have to admit that it took me a bit to truly get into Jax and Dante, which did concern me, but I had faith that something would turn the tide and I’d be all in...and then THAT moment happened (which was a great moment btw) and BOOM, I was all in. The book hit all the right buttons, and even some of the not so right ones, but all in all, I’m hooked on the town of Brigs Ferry Bay and cannot wait to get my hands on the rest of the series.

I loved Jax and Dante. I wanted to Gibbs smack both of them quite a few times throughout the book, but I also loved them and wanted to hug them more. They both have demons they are dealing with, but underneath it all they are both amazing men who deserve nothing but the best in life. As for their journey to their HEA...it definitely started off rocky, but the spark was there and once they got over their first impressions, it was game on. Things were still rocky, but I loved watching as they got to know each other and found that staying away wasn’t an option and in the end, found the HEA they never expected.

This was a great start to a new series. The small town feel definitely jumped off the page no matter if it was the good, the bad or the ugly ~ and boy, was the ugly, ugly so be prepared for some trigges. As for the inhabitants of Brigs Ferry Bay, I loved the majority of them, there are a few I’d like to gut with a spoon ~ but you can’t have it all right? Cato is probably my fav of the bunch, but Brie, Zac, Hans, Shelly, Callen, Cormac...they totally brought the town to life and I’m totally look forward to spending a lot more time in the town and getting to know them all a whole lot better!
