This was a great conclusion to Marcus and Gabe’s getting their HEA. Things start up right where they ended in Bad Intentions (and yes, you do need to read Bad Intentions first to fully understand all that is going on) and I must say I loved watching as they worked through their issues with what it meant to be in a relationship.
While I did have some issues with Gabe and his impetuousness at times, I loved how he opened Marcus’ eyes, and heart, to what life could be like if he could just stop being such a work-a-holic. And on the flipside, I loved how open Marcus was with Gabe, sometimes he could be blunt, but when he turned on the charm, he was lethal. And in the end, I liked how they brought out the best in each other.
This was a fun read and there were some great moments from new friends and old ones. I loved catching up with Logan and Tate and I ended up loving Abby and Ryan, so I’m crossing my toes that we’ll see more of them in the future!
