This book gave me everything my reading loving heart loves in a romance. Amazing characters ~ all of them, even the ones I want to throat punch after meeting them for the first time. Great moments all around and a journey that makes you believe anything is possible when it comes to love.
I gotta admit, I was full on Team Ella from the start and it just snowballed into full on adoration of the woman. She’s feisty, has a huge heart and her love language is food (I don’t even want to the think of all the calories I feel I ate simply by reading about her food). She is pretty much my girl crush. Steele…well, the urge to Gibbs smack him was strong, oh. So. Strong. But when the kevlar he wraps himself in starts to tear, the man has a golden heart. Their journey is definitely a fun one. Lots of ups and downs, but each moment just brings these two closer until they admit just how much they’ve come to mean to each other and do get it right in the end (the “groveling’ was pretty epic btw).
I can’t say enough good things about this book. Great love story, characters you’ll love & some you’ll love to hate and just an all around good time.
