~**~ ARC Review: Hot For His Girl by Rachel Blaufeld ~**~

***4 Stars*** The description was the lure. I mean, I do the reviewer/blogger-ish thing so that peaked my interest and when you add in the whole single parent thing I and my curiosity got the better of me. And I have to say I really enjoyed the book. I was hooked from the first page and found it to be fun and sweet, and though relatively low on angst and drama, it had just enough moments of frustration to keep things interesting until the very end. I really liked Andi, even when there were times where I wanted to reach into my Kindle and shake a little (or a lot of) sense into her. She was burned, badly, and while it could have totally crippled her, she pulled on her shitkickers and did what needed to be done for her daughter, and I have nothing but admiration for her in that respect. But she does have walls and while I don’t blame her at all, they blind her to quite a few things, including herself. Reid is hard not to love. I mean the man is laid back and yet underneath th...

~**~ Blog Tour for Best Served Cold by Emma Hart w/ Excerpt & Review ~**~

Revenge is a dish best served cold. Which is a real problem when the attraction runs red-hot. Best Served Cold, an all-new standalone romantic comedy from New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Emma Hart is available now! Trust me. I know. The only reason I decided to renovate my family’s ice-cream store was to serve up a sundae full of revenge for my a-hole ex who opened an ice-cream store right next to mine. It was supposed to be simple. Renovate. Reopen. Put his peachy butt out of business. Until he decided to get under my skin—and broke my toe. Now, I’m stuck with Chase in my store every day, helping me renovate. But he’s also in my head, and I’m spending a little too much time up against his abs. Not that it’s the worst place to be. But it doesn’t change anything. I still hate him, and I’m still going to get my revenge. Right? Download your copy today! ~**~ ARC Re-Issue Review: Nightbloom (Nightwing #3) by Juliette Cross ~**~

***5 Stars*** My rating didn’t change and after reading my original review it really does sum up how much I adored Nightbloom the first time I read it as well as this time and this one is still my favorite of the three. Watching Ella break out of her shell was a lot fun and Pax was just alpha AF goodness. And the two of them together just fit. They had a flow to them, even when there was a bit of awkwardness tossed into the mix, that made their journey fun to experience. If you want the full meal deal review, scroll on down, but I love this world and revisiting it was a lot of fun. The Nightwing series should be read in order as each one does build on each other and more pieces of the world are added on as you go. You don’t HAVE to read these before the Vale of Stars series, but I highly recommend it since these characters are still around and make appearances in the books. ~ Copy provided by the author & voluntarily reviewed ~ ***************************************...

~**~ Series Review: The Kiss & Make Up Series by Sara Ney ~**~

***3 Stars*** I never know what to expect when I’ve found an author I really, really like and decide to go and read the books published before the one, or ones, that had me fall in love with their writing, but it’s something of a nerve racking experience for me because I want to be open minded, but having a point of reference tends to make being unbiased difficult and that’s what happened here. Overall, I liked the book. It was a quick read that felt very YA to me, which is a good thing, but it didn’t give me that gut punch I was looking for. In general, I liked Molly and Weston. Both have their heads screwed on semi well and, in general, are good people. Molly is thoughtful. I’m not sure if it makes her more mature or just more aware, but she doesn’t want to do something just because everyone else is. Yes, she can get nudged into things and does a great job at the deer in headlights rambling thing, but there is also a maturity to her that I appreciated. Weston is an...
