~**~ ARC Review: The Bed Mate (Room Mates 3.5) by Kendall Ryan ~**~

***4 Stars*** This was a really sweet, fun and quick best friends to lovers read with just the right amount of heat and drama to keep things interesting. Sam and Maggie were fun and likable characters whose chemistry ~ as friends as well as more ~ jumped off the page and had me, along with the rest of their friends, chomping at the bit for that moment when they finally took the plunge into being more than just friends. The fun part of this novella for me was watching as both Sam and Maggie finally start to realize that there is more between them than just friendship, that though they are besties, there could be more if they can trust in it. Nothing about their journey felt forced or over the top, it really was about two people who have always been more but due to their own obliviousness as well as the timing not being right hadn’t realized that what they were both looking for was right in front of them. So, if you’re a fan of the best friends to lovers trope and are ...

~**~ ARC Review: Blade (Bayou Heat #23) by Alexandra Ivy & Laura Wright ~**~

***4 Stars*** I always look forward to diving in for a quick visit to the Bayou Heat realm. The stories, though novella length are chock full of humor, heart and steam, as well as a good dose of drama thanks to the enemies of the Pantera all the while moving the main story arc forward and Blade definitely had all of that going for it and more. Blade and Valli’s story is much more character driven than some of the others have been, but considering what they went through at the hands of Benson’s minions, I had no issue with that. I I liked seeing how they were dealing with all that had happened to them both as well as working out the whole ‘You’re human, my mate and carrying my child’ issue and how it all worked out in the end. The writing, as always, is engaging and each book flows seamlessly into next one. While these can be read as standalones, I do recommend that you read them in order to fully understand who the Pantera are and their social structure.  ...

~**~ ARC Review: Too Close to Call (Romancing the Clarksons #3.5) by Tessa Bailey ~**~

***4 ‘Team Kyler’ Stars*** I loved Kyler in Too Hard to Forget and after finding out about his own heartbreak I was crossing my toes that we’d somehow, someway get a book about him getting a second chance with the girl who owned his heart, because that was how much of an impact he made on me. So, when Too Close to Call was announced I swear I did the whole fangirl squee-ing with happy dancing tossed into the mix and I was not disappointed! It was quick, fun read with with all kinds of sweet, smexy and heart. Kyler is all kinds of sweet and charming. Mix that with a healthy dose of determination, a bit of sneakiness and a heart of gold, not to mention smexy without trying and the man is lethal. Bree is intelligent, driven and all about her family. She has a shy side, but there is fire beneath it that comes out with just the right amount of prodding. Their second chance story was sweet and smexy and fun and as much as I thought I’d want to hate on Bree, I couldn’t. She ...

~**~ ARC Review: Tangled (Dark Protectors #7.8) by Rebecca Zanetti ~**~

***4 ‘Trust Me’ Stars*** I always love sliding back into the world of The Realm, no matter which series, and spending time with the uber smexy dominant alpha males and the feist women who drive them crazy and Tangled fit the bill perfectly. It’s a fun, quick and smexy read that kept me turning the pages as Ginny and Theo worked all their issues out. Theo and Ginny have known each other for a long, long time and I loved watching as they finally let down their walls and showed their true selves to one another, which only served to bring them closer together. Theo’s black and white stance actually melded quite well with Ginny’s more grayish tendencies and it was fun to see how they kept each other on their toes. I loved spending a little time with the Reese brothers as well as The King and his queen, but I must admit that I’m already crushing on Uncle Benny and am keeping my toes crossed that we not only see more of the vampire, but that he gets his own novella or book...
