~**~ ARC Review: Guardian’s Grace (Dark Protectors #12) by Rebecca Zanetti ~**~

***4 Stars*** From the first time I met Adare and Grace and found out that their “mating” was more about convenience ~ well, life saving convenience ~ I wondered just what it would take to get these two to realize that they were meant to be together, and let me tell you it was a rocky yet enjoyable ride. Adare and Grace. These two take determination to a whole new level. Adare is all kinds of protective alpha af male and loyal to fault. He is so focused on “The Job” that it blinds him to what is right in front of him. Grace is all about seeing what isn’t visible to the naked eye and living life on her own terms. So, when these two opposites collide sparks fly in every way possible. And those collisions tended to end in frustration. I swear these two and their lack of true communication was as enjoyable as it was frustrating. The chemistry was there and I liked how neither denied that part of their attraction and in the end, I was very happy that they finally realized that their mating ...

~**~ ARC Review: Alpha’s Promise (Dark Protectors #10) by Rebecca Zanetti ~**~

***4.5 Stars*** This was a fun read, it did drag for me at times ~ though it could just be a whole “it’s not you, it’s me” situation ~ but overall it really was a great read. Sweet, smexy, cerebrally challenging at times, but fun. I ADORED Promise and Ivar. Promise is calm, cool, collected and even though she takes the more logical route, she has a huge heart when it comes down to it. Ivar has been put through the wringer and though he’s not as close to the edge of insanity as he once was, he’s still dealing with the after affects of his hellish journey. But regardless of all the chaos inside him, he protects those he calls his own and has honor and loyalty etch on his very soul. As for their journey to their HEA. From the moment they first collided ~ which was definitely NOT your usual meet cute ~ to their mating to where we leave them at the end of the book, I enjoyed the entire ride. Part of it was that the angsty/drama was low and that stemmed from the fact that Ivar a...

~**~ ARC Review: Demon’s Mercy (Dark Protectors #9) by Rebecca Zanetti ~**~

***5 ‘#TeamLogan’ Stars*** Ever since meeting Logan and Garrett in Wicked Ride I have had a huge, HUGE, book boyfriend crush on them both. I mean, I seriously ADORE both of them, so to say I did a happy dance when I found out that Logan was getting his HEA is an understatement and I was not disappointed. I will admit that there were moments of huge eye rolls and wanting to pull out my “bang head here” sign and use it, but I loved it all and wanted more. I’m going to sound like a broken record, but I ADORED Logan. He is all kinds of Alpha AF/Book Boyfriend goodness. Protective, stubborn and deadly (when it’s called for) and all kinds of sweet and smexy, the male is kind of everything. Mercy....Here’s the thing with Mercy, I loved her, I did, but dear lord did she try my patience. I mean, I can’t really hate on her because she is so steadfast in her beliefs, and she comes by them honestly, but man...she tried me. Thankfully she is sweet, snarky and intelligent and definitely ke...

~**~ ARC Review: Wicked Bite (Realm Enforcers #5) by Rebecca Zanetti ~**~

***3 Stars*** It pains me to say this, it really does, because I’ve enjoyed every other book in this series and was all kinds of excited to get my hands on more of Bear, but this one just didn’t do it for me. I wanted it to, badly, and there were a few bright spots throughout which stopped me from DNF’ing the book outright, but when you start skimming (skipping) pages then you know it’s not a good sign. While I didn’t fall in love with either Bear or Nessa, I did like them separately, but together they just didn’t really do it for me. The chemistry wasn’t there for me. Yes, the smexy was smexy but the constant head butting and need to physically prove dominance got old especially when both are supposed to be quite intelligent and could have found another way to prove a point. But, it is what it is. As for the Apollo storyline. The whole Bear distributing Apollo storyline was dragged out too long for me and then resolved too quickly. I know I sound like that person who final...

~**~ ARC Review: Wicked Kiss (Realm Enforcers #4) by Rebecca Zanetti ~**~

***3 Stars*** I suppose there had to be one book in the series that didn’t totally work for me, not something I expected, but as much as I enjoyed how the Apollo drug storyline and crazy going on with the Coven Nine were moved along, Tori and Adam didn’t really do it for me, even though the smexy was pretty damn hot between them. Here’s the deal with Tori. For the most part I did like her. I liked her stubborness, loyalty and determination to do what she deemed was best, but those were also the things that had her making decisions that would get her into situations that she couldn’t handle and therefore made things worse. I wanted to reach out and shake her many times. Adam was all kinds of Alpha AF, not that any of the males in this series and the spin off would be anything less, but there was just something missing and he didn’t draw me in like the previous males have. With my tepid feels towards these two, I was some what “meh” about their journey. I don’t mind the ...

~**~ ARC Review: Tangled (Dark Protectors #7.8) by Rebecca Zanetti ~**~

***4 ‘Trust Me’ Stars*** I always love sliding back into the world of The Realm, no matter which series, and spending time with the uber smexy dominant alpha males and the feist women who drive them crazy and Tangled fit the bill perfectly. It’s a fun, quick and smexy read that kept me turning the pages as Ginny and Theo worked all their issues out. Theo and Ginny have known each other for a long, long time and I loved watching as they finally let down their walls and showed their true selves to one another, which only served to bring them closer together. Theo’s black and white stance actually melded quite well with Ginny’s more grayish tendencies and it was fun to see how they kept each other on their toes. I loved spending a little time with the Reese brothers as well as The King and his queen, but I must admit that I’m already crushing on Uncle Benny and am keeping my toes crossed that we not only see more of the vampire, but that he gets his own novella or book...

~**~ ARC Review: Justice Ascending (Scorpius Syndrome #3) by Rebecca Zanetti ~**~

***4 “I Should Never  Have Tapped Out” Stars*** I couldn’t wait to get my hands on Justice Ascending to see what would be coming next for the Vanguard crew and even more importantly to get an up close and personal view into Tace’s changing mind. And though there were parts that dragged a bit for me, I loved Tace and Sami’s journey and liked where things were left story arc wise in the end. Tace has been my favorite character from the very beginning with this Texas charming and fierce loyalty to Jax and the Vanguard, that didn’t change when he started to go dark. Instead it made home more intriguing as he started to head into the sociopath route because I wanted to see what, if anything at all, would change about him. Changes did happen, it would unrealistic to assume other wise, and they made the good ‘ole boy darker in how he viewed what was going on around him but he never lost his sense of honor and loyalty to those he called his own I do love me a f...
