The Muse by Emma Scott is now live! From USA Today and Wall Street Journal bestselling author Emma Scott, comes an emotional paranormal romance about sacrifice, redemption, and the power of true love. Cole Matheson didn't expect the road toward being a successful painter would be paved in gold, but he hoped there'd be a few less potholes. Insidious self-doubt that whispers that he's no good, talentless, hopeless has him on the brink of despair. Maybe it would be better to just give up. A midnight visit by a beautiful creature of darkness changes everything... Ambrosius Edward Meade-Finch surrendered to the underworld centuries ago after knowing only pain and suffering during his short life. Now, Ambri makes humans dance on his strings, feeding on their desire for his own pleasure. But his liege lord questions his loyalty and commands him to bring a pure soul into their dark realm. Cole Matheson seemed like an easy mark, but Ambri didn't count on his go...

~**~ ARC Review: Storm Echo (Psy-Changling Trinity #6) by Nalini Singh ~**~

***5 ‘Today and Tomorrow and Always’ Stars*** This right here is why I’m a full on fan girl of this series. The storyline, the characters, how the author keeps all the various and numerous connections straight while making new ones…all of it kept me turning the pages and had me doing a re-read as soon as I finished because it was just that damn good and I didn’t want to say good-bye. I adored Ivan and Lei. Ivan being a Mercant is already a vote in his favor ~ because who doesn’t love the Mercants? ~ his loyalty to family and need to protect, not only his family but he found a very interesting kinship with was a huge draw. Lei was light, happiness and a sweet sassyness that had me smiling, even when her light was dimmed due to an extreme loss. Their journey to their HEA was a lot of fun to experience. I loved how they first collided and the connection it started between them. And while their second collision was not as joyous, it only strengthened the bond between them and as they got t...

~**~ Release Blitz for Getting Gold (The Draak Legacy #2) by Xavier Neal w/ Review ~**~

GETTING GOLD (The Draak Legacy #2)  by Xavier Neal     Release Date: February 24th     Genre/Tropes: PNR/Rom Com PNR    ***5 Stars*** I absolutely enjoyed Saving Silver and couldn’t wait to get my hands on the next in the series and Getting Gold did not disappoint. It was just as much fun as the first book with lots of laughs, heart, heat and a good dose of drama and has me loving these characters and this world even more. I adored Auran, Gold and Anais. They were honestly just so much fun to get to know and watch as they navigated their Fated Mating and all the crazy that comes with it. Auran can be antagonistic and has a huge appetite but has a heart of gold. Anais is feisty. I mean, she may think fate hates her (as per the synopsis) but she doesn’t let it get her down. She pulls on those shitkickers and just keeps moving forward. Their journey to their HEA was a lot of fun to experience, especially with Gold in the mix. They are so well ...

~**~ ARC Review: Breaking Badger (Honey Badger Chronicles #4) by Shelly Laurenston ~**~

***5 ‘Danish’ Stars*** So. Much. Fun! I snort laughed more while reading this baby than I have in awhile, but that really isn’t that much of a surprise because I always seem to when it comes to this author. And I feel I need to say this before going further. When it comes to this author (no matter the name the book is under) I simply read the books for true entertainment. Meaning, it’s not about the ‘romance’ for me ~ which is definitely not standard ~ it’s more about the crazy, chaotic, OTT characters and their relationships and reactions to each other that I love because the author takes their animal natures to the extreme and I never know what will happen next So, Finn and Mads are the two characters that get together in this one and I loved both of them. Mads is one that keeps things close to the chest that mean a lot to her, with the exception of basketball. Basketball is her lifeline. Finn is, for the most part, laid back. He has to be considering how crazy his brothers drive him...

~**~ ARC Review: The Blood is Love (Dark Eyes #2) by Karina Halle ~**~

***5 Stars*** I asked, begged, pleaded for MORE and I most definitely got it with this baby. More of not only Lenore and Absolon, but Wolf, Amethyst, Ezra, Odin, Yvonne...and even some others that I may or may not have wanted more of, but still...this was what I needed and more. I already loved and adored Lenore and Absolon, and that didn’t change one bit. In fact, I ended up loving and adoring them more because we get to experience how they navigate their new norm. Both of their lives have shifted sideways ~ especially Lenore’s ~ and I really enjoyed how they worked through it together and became stronger as individuals, but also as a couple. This baby is filled with a bunch of twists and turns, some I figured out, some had me going WTF?!? And then there were a few moments of well, that was definitely eye opening...opening being the operative word...but in the end I thoroughly enjoyed getting a deeper look into this rich and dark world and all those that reside in it. And as for their...

~**~ ARC Review: Hunt of the Dragon (Vale of Stars #4) by Juliette Cross ~**~

***5 Stars*** While I’m sad that this is the last book of the series, I gotta say, this baby went out big. It pushed all the right buttons for me in every way possible and gave me everything I wanted and more. I adored Krissa and Bowen. Krissa is adventurous, but not impetuous. She is all kinds of sweet and sassy, but has a good head on her shoulders. Bowen is even keel, for the most part, and leans towards doing the right thing, even when his emotions are riding him hard. Their journey to their HEA was a fun, low on the angst one, which I personally liked because of all that was going on with the Larkosian’s ~ that was more than enough drama for me. But while things did happen quickly between, it didn’t feel like anything was rushed. They got to know each other not only through conversations, but actions and they the kind of flow that made them work for me and in the end, I loved how everything worked out for them. As I said at the start, I’m sad that this is the last book in the seri...

~**~ Audiobook Review: Wolf Gone Wild (Stay A Spell #1) by Juliette Cross ~**~

Audio Review   ***5 Stars*** Narrators: Johanna Fairview & Aiden Snow Listening Speed: 1.25x I love audiobooks.  Especially when they are books I’ve already read and loved. But. As much as I love them, I’m very picky when it comes to the narrator, or narrators, because if my ear doesn’t like the cadence or tone of their voice and how it brings the other characters to life, well, it can ruin the story for me. On the flip side, the right voice can elevate my enjoyment of the book and Johanna Fairview & Aiden Snow totally elevated Wolf Gone Wild for me. I’ve listened to Aiden Snow read before and already loved his voice, but what really got me was how he was able to keep Mateo and Alpha separate but connected all at the same time. I had many laugh out loud moments when it was just the two of them going at it. Johanna Fairview is a new to me narrator and I loved how she brought Evie and the joy she has for the things she is truly passionate about to life. And as for a...

~**~ ARC Review: The Bear’s Forever Mate (Borealis Bears #3) by Vivian Arend ~**~

***4 Stars*** This was a quick, fun read and while I’m sad that this is the last in the series, I loved the way everything ended up for the Borealis clan. Amber is all kinds of awesome. She’s had an interesting life, one filled with ups and downs that have shaped her, but she’s persevered and is living her best life possible. Cooper is all about his family and their company. He’ll do anything for them ~ well, almost ~ but he’s also all about his ‘lists’ obsessively (and kind of irritatingly) so, but his heart is in the right place. Cooper and Amber’s journey to their HEA was a fun one, especially since Cooper the adorable polar bear puts his paw into the mix. I loved their bantering and how Amber constantly kept Cooper on his toes, while he in turn became even more enamored of the woman. Their bump in the road was an interesting one, but made sense in the context of what a mating is and I really enjoyed how it all worked out in the end. The Bear’s Forever Mate was a great...
