~**~ ARC Review: Playing It Safe (Sydney Smoke Rugby #7) by Amy Andrews ~**~

***5 Stars*** This book was exactly what I needed and didn’t even know it (So, yay me for clicking that little button, but then again, it is a series about rugby so it wasn’t all that difficult to do). It had me grinning, swooning and drooling, like a fool the entire time and even when the growlies happened, I was still all in and in total adoration of Donovan and Beckett. So, yeah, I adored Donovan and Beckett. Donovan is dedicated, laid back and an over thinker (something I totally understood) and at a crossroads in his life. But what I really liked was how honest he was with himself at every step. Beckett was a lot of fun because he totally owned who he was. He had this light and ease about him that drew me in and had me wishing we could be friends in real life. Their journey to their HEA was a lot of fun to experience. Yes, Donovan had a lot to work through on his end, but they had a connection, a chemistry that had me rooting for them from the moment they met and I really liked ho...

~**~ ARC Review: Jock Royal (Jock Hard #4) by Sara Ney ~**~

***4.5 Stars*** To say I was all kinds of excited to jump back into the Jock Row is no lie.  I love this world. But finding out I was about a rugger?  Done. Just. Done. Because rugby is my fav sport (as are rugby men) and well, they are something of a different breed. So, I dove in and boy did this one take me on a ride I wasn’t all that prepared for. I still loved and adored the majority of it, but man, there were some parts…lemme just say the eyes hurt from all the rolling But as for Ash and Georgie. Overall, I really did adore these two. Ashley is basically blunt and to the point and his humor is all kinds of dry Brit goodness. He’s determined, stubborn and is focused on his goals. Georgia is sweet, sassy and just an all around good person. When she is focused, she definitely gets things done, but when things slide into a gray area...well, all bets are off. Their journey was definitely an interesting one. Their first collision was definitely not a meet-cute, but everything ...

~**~ ARC Review: Playing With Trouble by Amy Andrews ~**~

***4 Stars*** I saw “Rugby” and then I saw “manny” and went gimme.  Gimme now. Because rugby is the bestest sport ever!  And the idea of a rugby lad turning manny...well, I couldn’t resist and I have to say, the book was a lot of fun. It was sweet, frustrating, funny and just an all around quick and fun read that had me rolling my eyes and laughing out loud many times over and also crossing my toes that this isn’t the last time we see the characters we got to meet in Colorado. I really liked Jane and Cole. Jane is sweet, sassy and determined. I loved her drive and ambition, even when it meant that she had to work her fingers to the bone to accomplish it all. Cole, at first glance, is a bit of a grump, but it was totally understandable with all that was going on in his life, but when he finally got out of his own head, he was a great guy. Charming, caring and had just enough alpha in him to make him all kinds of swoon worthy. Their journey to their HEA was a lot of fun to witne...

~**~ ARC Review: Love Hard (Hard Play #3) by Nalini Singh ~**~

***5 Stars*** #fangirldown #fangirldown This isn’t even a hangover situation. This is pure, unadulterated book happiness. I swear my cheeks hurt from all the stupid, dopey grinning I was doing while reading this baby. I not only got an amazing second chance at love/frenemies to lovers/single parent romance, but got to spend time with a whole bunch of characters I adore and got to meet more that have me crossing my toes that the author has something up her sleeves for them in the future because I simply need more of them all. I ADORED Jacob and Juliette. ADORED. Jake is, simply put, a really good man. He obliterated my ovaries anytime he was with his adorable daughter, Esme, but it was how protective he was with those he called his own that had me all kinds of twitterpated. Jules is a force to be reckoned with. This woman owns all that she is and isn’t afraid to speak her mind ~ whether it be snarky or sweet ~ she gives as good as she gets, and then some. I thoroughly ...

~**~ ARC Review: Melt For You (Slow Burn #2) by J T Geissinger ~**~

***5 ‘Mountain’ Stars*** I’ve found that many of Ms. Geissinger’s books take me on a major emotional rollercoaster, which I’m not complaining about in anyway because that is always a good thing when it comes to a book, but this one...this one was a category 5 hurricane settled over me the entire time I was devouring the words. I think the term ‘All the feels’ is an understatement, a huge one because I felt them all and then some, but even with the huge emotional upheaval I’m sitting here typing this out with a big dopey smile on my face, because regardless of emotional hurricane, it was kind of everything. Joellen I wanted to hug and Gibbs smack in equal measure. There were so many times I was like “Don’t go there...don’t go…*Big heavy sigh* You went there” but I also got her. I mean like deep down, I could pretty much predict what she was going to think kind of GOT her. It was scary, but it was real. And when I wasn’t sighing in frustration, I loved her sass and snark and j...
