~**~ ARC Review: Breaking Badger (Honey Badger Chronicles #4) by Shelly Laurenston ~**~

***5 ‘Danish’ Stars*** So. Much. Fun! I snort laughed more while reading this baby than I have in awhile, but that really isn’t that much of a surprise because I always seem to when it comes to this author. And I feel I need to say this before going further. When it comes to this author (no matter the name the book is under) I simply read the books for true entertainment. Meaning, it’s not about the ‘romance’ for me ~ which is definitely not standard ~ it’s more about the crazy, chaotic, OTT characters and their relationships and reactions to each other that I love because the author takes their animal natures to the extreme and I never know what will happen next So, Finn and Mads are the two characters that get together in this one and I loved both of them. Mads is one that keeps things close to the chest that mean a lot to her, with the exception of basketball. Basketball is her lifeline. Finn is, for the most part, laid back. He has to be considering how crazy his brothers drive him...

~**~ ARC Review: Badger to the Bone (Honey Badger Chronicles #3) by Shelly Laurenston ~**~

***4 Stars*** I totally NEEDED this. I needed an insane, OTT, WTEF. make me laugh/snort out loud read to simply take me away from the reality we are living in and put in another one and this book did that for me. Now, as I’ve said before, I don’t really read these books for the romance, I read them for the crazy, unique characters that populate them and this one is chock full of them. Max and Ze, being the MC’s as far as the budding romance is concerned, were a lot of fun. Max is beyond...well, simply beyond, but what I loved about her is that regardless of everything, her sisters are her priority ~ even when it comes to pissing them off. Ze was a bit unexpected but he fit right in with everyone, even when he didn’t realize it. Their journey was simply crazy and fun and considering their differences, they made a great couple. Then there Charlie, Berg, Stevie, Shen, Dutch and everyone else ~ even the baddies ~ gave me everything I needed. I loved seeing how their relations...

~**~ ARC Review: In a Badger Way (Honey Badger Chronicles #2) by Shelly Laurenston ~**~

***4 Stars*** Oh, how I love the crazy this world provides. I really do and that’s exactly why I read these books. I love the over the top interactions and reactions of these very unique characters and they never fail to have me laughing out loud at their antics and this one gave me exactly that. I laughed out loud, rolled my eyes and did my best to keep up with everything going on (which can be difficult at times) and though I am a bit exhausted thanks to the crazy, I definitely want more! Now, the thing with these books, this world (and many of the authors other worlds) I don’t really read them for the romance, in part because I find the crazy more interesting, but mostly because the romance doesn’t follow any normal path and sometimes just “Happens” and the majority of the time the couple in question totally work, as it did Stevie and Shen. On the surface they shouldn’t work, the genius and the ‘bodyguard’, but Shen soothes Stevie’s anxiety in a way most can’t. She, in t...

~**~ ARC Review: Hot and Badgered (The Honey Badgers #1) by Shelly Laurenston ~**~

***5 ‘Stray-Dog This’ Stars*** Two things before I start the review: 1) This is the first time I’ve read anything to do with this world, not the first time I’ve read the author because I’ve gone down the rabbit hole with The Call of Crows & Dragon Kin Series (G.A. Aiken) and loved every second. 2) I know that these books are under the PNR umbrella, but I tend to view them as more UF with some romance. So with that out of the way…. OMG SO. MUCH. CRAZY. GOODNESS!! Am I kicking my own ass for not diving into this world when my bookwhorebestie told me to? Yes. But, I’m all about making more room in my comfy little rabbit hole for this world. I adored Berg and Charlie. It was hard not to adore them. While they have different boiling/I’m going to lose my shit points, they’re amazingly calm and logical and when it comes to their siblings they are all in. They will do anything for them, even if it means giving them a good smack upside the head...or more (it’s all s...

~**~ ARC Review: The Unyielding (Call of Crows #3) by Shelly Laurenston ~**~

***5 ‘Crazy, Chaotic Fuckery Goodness’ Stars*** That’s why I’ve come to love and adore this series, the crazy, chaotic fuckery goodness. It didn’t start off that way, but now it’s what I look forward to when I dive into this series, just like her Dragon Kin series under her G.A. Aiken pen name. It’s over the top and at time even a bit much for me, but I love  how three dimensional the characters are under all the crazy and how the romance is quite unique to this crazy fun world. I adored Erin and Stieg. Erin is irreverent and has no edit button, at least not one that she chooses to use in most situations. Her favorite past time is irritating as many people as she can and openly admits it to anyone who will listen. But despite her penchant for going off half cocked, she does care deeply for those she calls her own. Stieg is, well, a Raven. He is calm, collected and despite what the other Clans think, quite intelligent underneath the stern exterior. He’s more about...
