I loved and adored Holden and Jamie, I did, but man when you talk about someone being their own worst enemies? These two fit the bill ...

***5 Stars*** What the wha???  That’s where things are left off?? Seriously? *Deep breathes* So was not expecting that, but since I am unable to speak about it, let's go with what I can… I ADORED Jameson. She is something of an enigma and you never really know what you’ll get from her. In many ways she is mature and probably has more knowledge of things than she should, in others, she is very much a teenager. But I loved how she was simply herself, no matter the situation. Holden. I loved the guy in Leo & Mia’s story, I did, but boy did I want to Gibbs smack him a few times...but regardless of his words or actions, his heart is genuine and it was hard not to love the guy. Their journey ~ thus far ~ was a unique one. It was all kinds of frustrating, laugh out loud and heartbreaking, heart melting goodness and while that ending almost had the Kindle tossed into the freezer, I will be awaiting the next book and preparing my heart for what will come. ~ Copy provided by the author ...

***5 Stars*** Ok. I KNOW that I should have been prepared for what was going to be thrown down simply by the name of the book and duet, but DAMN, my heart...Talk about being shattered and then pieced back together, not just once, but at various times throughout the book. I mean this one had me getting all teary and sniffly one moment, frustrated and a little growly the next and then laughing out loud and even getting a little swoony. It was exhausting emotionally and yet, satisfying all at the same time and though things do end on a bit of a cliffy, which is never fun, I cannot wait to get my hands on the conclusion to Ava and Connor’s journey. Ava and Conner. My heart hurt for these two. They are both good, hard working kids that life/fate has leveled a lot of weight on. Ava is sassy, sweet and has a good heart.
