~**~ ARC Review: Tapped by the Rockstar (Mile High Rocked #4) by Christina Hovland ~**~

***5 Stars*** I thought I was prepared for the crazy from, not only, the Dimefront crew (because they do crazy well) and Babushka (who is a force of nature not seen before) but DAMN. Tanner and Sam have enough going on to make things awkward and difficult, but things were kicked up a few (hundred) notches as they get “help” from those around them, which made their journey to their HEA all kinds of chaotic but strangely addicting until the very last page. I gotta say that I loved Tanner and Sam. They are both sweet and just all around good people. Tanner is this mix of awkward yet determined with a go with the flow kind of attitude that makes it easy to fall for him. Sam was interesting. I felt for her, I did, but she also frustrated me because instead of taking control of the situation, the situation controlled her, so watching as she finally takes control was a lot of fun. Their journey was crazy. I mean, I don’t know how else to put it and while I’d love to get into it all, I won’t b...

~**~ ARC Review: Married to the Rockstar (Mile High Rocked #3) by Christina Hovland ~**~

***5 Stars*** OMG…I had the whole love/frustration thing going on with Knox and Irina, and I swear my eyes hurt from all the rolling they did, but the frustration ~ and hijinx of everyone involved ~ was so worth it in the end. I actually adored Knox and Irina. Knox is a serious sweetheart, he doesn’t always think he is and he can definitely be stubborn about certain aspects of his life and future, but he’s a sweetheart. Irina is determined. Once she decides on something, she is all in. This is great when it comes to her career, but it also hinders her in other ways.  Their journey to their HEA was all kinds of sweet and fun, but also frustrating as all get out. They have great chemistry, the bantering was a lot of fun and once the smexy times happen…yeah, HAWT. But OMG. Getting them to actually admit to each other that their feelings were changing and that there could be something more there was like trying to get a dog who hates the cold to go potty when it’s snowing outside. But,...

~**~ ARC Review: Knocked Up By the Rockstar (Mile High Rocked #2) by Christina Hovland ~**~

***5 ‘Magnets’ Stars*** Oh Bax and Courtney. I was all set for full out war with these two…no joke, but instead I got a bit of angst, but a whole lot of heart and actual conversation…though that definitely came with a good dose of quirkiness in it’s own right…and simply fell a hell of a lot further in love with the Dimefront crew and those they call their own. Courtney and Bax. I adored Courtney. She’s got a good head on her shoulders, is sweet and snarky. She has her moments, but she’s just a good person who had her world shift sideways and is simply figuring it all out. Bax, I adored him, but he also drove me a bit batshitcrazy. He’s a good guy, but he hasn’t figured out what he really wants. He thinks he knows and goes hard to get it, but is blinded to the various pitfalls in just how he going about getting what he thinks he wants. Their journey to their HEA was a lot of fun. I’ll be the first to admit that I thought there would a whole lot more angst going on between Courtney and B...

~**~ ARC Review: April May Fall (Mommy Wars #3) by Christina Hovland ~**~

***4 ‘Banana & Ribbit’ Stars*** Funny, snort out loud funny at times. Sweet, OTT, eye roll inducing… This baby had it all and then some.  This cast of characters made sure I kept turning the pages to see just what would happen next. I gotta say, I really liked April and Jack. April is going through a lot, but I loved her determination to be more. She does stumble along the way and definitely has to pick her battles, but she’s got it more together than she thinks. Jack is the planner. The Mr. Fix It and actually doesn’t do too badly when his plans go sideways, but he’s a good guy who is more than willing to put himself out there when necessary. Their journey to their HEA was a lot of fun. It was slow burn, forced proximity ~ I mean totally “forced” ~ single parent goodness. But all of that combined did force April and Jack to see each other as more, especially when they are thrown into quite a few unexpected situations. I loved their bantering, they definitely had chemistry and ...

~**~ ARC Review: Played by the Rockstar (Mile High Rocked #1) by Christina Hovland ~**~

***5 ‘Gibson’ Stars*** This book totally made me snort laugh. And swoon. And grin like a fucking loon and also growl with frustration. So basically it was a great read where I got to meet a whole new crew of people I NEED to know more about AND also get some time hanging out with some other people I already know and love aka the Mile High Matched crew...so total win-win for me! I freakin’ ADORED Linx aka Cedric. He got that silver tongued charisma thing going on, is easy going and totally about his music and his cat ~ that was a bit weird at the start, but I can’t not love a man who loves his pets as much as he did. Becca was mixed bag for me. I honestly did adore her. She’s got this brightness to her that draws you in and will go all out when necessary, but man, some of the convo’s she was having in her head with herself had me growling. As for their journey to their HEA, it was a lot of fun. The attraction was instant between them, but I really enjoyed how well they flowed together, ...

~**~ ARC Review: Rachel, Out of Office by Christina Hovland ~**~

***4.5 ‘Team Travis’ Stars*** I swear I felt like I needed a Xanax with a whiskey chaser while reading this book...actually, I kinda feel like I still might need it because...whoa. These characters definitely took some getting used to. Not that they were unlikable, well...maybe a couplefew started off on my not so likeable list but things did sort themselves out and I’m crossing my toes that we’ll get to spend more time with this crazy crew because they all have stories to tell. But on to Rachel and Travis.  I kinda adored Travis. He has his moments where you want to Gibbs smack him, but in all reality he is a lot more aware of what’s going on around him than people give him credit for. He’s charming and when he deems something important, he doesn’t mince words.  Rachel. This woman. Ok. Here’s the thing. I loved her, I did and I admired the hell out of her for juggling work, kids, her crazy family and her crazy friends, but I also wanted to reach out and shake some sense into ...

~**~ ARC Review: Do Me a Favor (Mile High Matched #4) by Christina Hovland ~**~

***4 ‘Can I Touch You?” Stars*** Oh my head. These two...and Babushka, totally did me in. Yes, I kept turning the pages, I NEEDED to see just how much more could possibly happen and what the tipping point would finally be, but OMG, my head. *Deep breath* Okay. Roman and Sadie. Here’s the thing. I really liked them both. I did. Both are good people, with good hearts, but man, did they put me through the wringer when it came to getting their HEA. I have so many words to say, so many thoughts that ran through my head, when it came to the choices they made, I won’t (can’t: spoilers) because then this would turn into a dissertation. What I will say is that while there is a part of me that needed them to get deeper with each other, I did like them together when they were just chill because I could see the connection that showed they could have an amazing future together. While the Roman and Sadie show didn’t jump start my heart like I wanted it to, catching up with the rest...

~**~ ARC Review: Take It Off the Menu (Mile High Matched #3) by Christina Hovland ~**~

***5 ‘Exactly The Same’ Stars*** I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the previous books in the series and couldn’t wait to get my hands on this one, especially after reading the blurb, and I was not disappointed! This was such a fun read. I loved every moment ~ even when I wanted to Gibbs smack and/or gut a few people with a spoon ~ and really wished there were more words to read because hanging out with this crew is all kinds of fun! Eli. Okay I was already swooning over the guy because of the chef thing...totally swoon worthy! And I absolutely loved him and how protective he was of those he called his own, even when he didn’t necessarily want to be, but he had the whole ‘insert foot into mouth disease’ going on and had me wanting to Gibbs smack him many, many times. I absolutely ADORED Marlee. She was sweet, sassy, and generous in such a selfless way that it drew me in and had me wishing she was my friend in real life. She had her moments of cluelessness that had me scratching my hea...
