~**~ ARC Review: The Revenge Pact (Kings of Football) by Ilsa Madden-Mills ~**~

***5 ‘I’ll Wait’ Stars*** This baby surprised me.  In the best of ways, but still. It was kinda what I expected it to be and yet, I was nothing like I thought it would be and that was a full on pleasant surprise as I got totally caught up in Anastasia and River and can honestly say that I hated it when there were no more words to read because I didn’t want to say good-bye. I adored Anastasia and River. Ana has had an interesting and unique upbringing that has made her comfortable in her own skin. She is sassy, snarky and has a compassionate soul. River was a surprise. I found that I wanted to Gibbs smack him as much as I wanted to hug the guy ~ sometimes at the same time ~ because he was simply that sweet and infuriating, and couldn’t help but fall in love with his golden heart.  The journey to their HEA wasn’t an easy one. It was all kinds of bumpy and frustrating, but it was also sweet and swoon worthy. The chemistry between them was hard to miss ~ even when they were baiting each ot

~**~ ARC Review: The Bookworm’s Guide to Faking It (The Bookworms Guide #2) by Emma Hart ~**~

***5 Stars*** There is never a dull moment in White Peak.  It doesn’t matter if it’s Holley attempting to dodge Sebastian or their grandparents wreaking havoc at the nursing home...or even the ducks, something is always causing some sort of crazy and I loved getting to witness it first hand. I loved Holley and Sebastian. Holley is snarky, sassy and just a tad bit of a control freak, but she is also a sweetheart who loves her friends and family...even if they do drive her BSC. Sebastian is sweet, laid back and focused. When the man makes a decision, he sticks with it. Their journey was a lesson in patience...a fun, crazy, kind of OTT one, but OMG. These two. It was easy to see how they were once BFF’s. Their bantering had a flow to it that only people who’d known each other for years could pull off and the chemistry was there, but man that one thing from their past...it’s one of those situations where I sided with both of them and honestly couldn’t make up my mind who was actually in th

~**~ ARC Review: A Hero’s Christmas Hope (Holidays in Hearts Falls #3) by Vivian Arend ~**~

***5 Stars*** If you are looking for a quick, low on drama, fun holiday read then this one will definitely hit the spot and have you looking at a holiday classic in a unique way. I loved Ryan and Madison. Ryan is simply a good man who is doing a great job raising a sweet and precocious little girl. Madison is sweet, sassy and has a way of making friends with anyone and everyone she meets. Their friends to lovers journey was all kinds of fun. It was easy to see how they could be friends, they had an ease with each other that could only come from spending a lot of time together at some point in their lives, and even with distance have kept in touch. But it was fun to watch as they reconnected and found that what they were feeling for each other was a lot more than friendship and I loved how it all worked out for them. This was a low on drama read, which could have made it seem a bit boring, but that wasn’t the case. There is an energy throughout the book ~ mostly thanks to Madison ~ that

~**~ ARC Review: Scars of Yesterday (The Sons of Templar MC #8) by Anne Malcom ~**~

***5 Stars*** I’ve attempted this review more times ~ on ‘paper’ and in my head ~ than I care to admit, but nothing I’ve attempted feels right. It’s either too much or not enough. There has been no middle ground. So, I’m gonna keep it short and sweet (I hope) This book is a journey. It is everything heartbreaking and heartwarming that I love about reading romance and then some. It had me laughing out loud, swooning and getting all kinds of teary eyed and sniffly. It’s about love, loss and finding a way to keep going ~ even in the most bleak of moments ~ and having a family, whether by blood or by choice, that will be there for you no matter what.  As for Lizzie, Ranger and Kace. I fell into full on adoration for all of them. Lizzie is simply amazing because even with all that she went through she found a way to come out stronger for it, Ranger I hurt for him but loved how he loved and Kace definitely had me swooning in all kinds of ways. These three did my heart in and I loved every mi

~**~ Cover Reveal for Sheriff's Secret by K Webster & Kian's Focus by Misty Walker ~**~

  K. Webster and Misty Walker have revealed the covers for their upcoming releases, Sheriff’s Secret and Kian’s Focus!      Brigs Ferry Bay is a steamy MM romance series. Fall in love with the charming small-town gay romances of Brigs Ferry Bay. Sheriff’s Secret December 29, 2020 When you’re the sheriff of Brigs Ferry Bay, certain things are expected of you. Marry a local girl, settle down, have a few kids. You know, the small-town dream. But I’ve got a secret I’m terrified will get out. I’m gay. Not bi. Not curious. Not confused. Just gay. So, settling for that dream won’t be happening. If this secret gets out, the people I serve and protect, especially my father, won’t be accepting.   I’m not brave like my high school sweetheart, Kian. The day he came out was the day I had to let him go, and with it, love. I’ve done a great job of pretending I’m perfectly fine being single. Until a villainous and annoyingly charming new B&B owner, Dante Kincaid, rolls

~**~ Cover Reveal for Love Thy Neighbor: Roommate Romps by Teagan Hunter ~**~

Release Date: December 10 Don’t fall for your roommate…especially when he’s your best friend.   Cooper Bennett is my best friend. That’s  all  he is and all he ever will be. Nothing will change that.   Accidentally seeing him naked? Please. So not a big deal. Having less-than-tame thoughts? I mean, have you seen this guy? Who could blame me? Kissing him? It was a one-time mistake, and it will  not  be repeated. Falling into bed with him?  Uh-oh…   It’s fine.  We’re  fine.   We’re Caroline and Cooper. Best friends until the end. Nothing has ever come our way that we couldn’t survive together.   Surely, we can handle this too… Meet Teagan Hunter I'm a Missouri-raised gal, but currently live in North Carolina with my US Marine husband and 9-year-old dog. I like

~**~ ARC Review: Jingle Bell Rock by Brooke Blaine & Ella Frank ~**~

***5 Stars*** My cheeks hurt from the cheesy grin that was stuck to my face while reading this baby.  And how could I NOT smile when I got to hang out with a whole bunch of my favorite characters! This is a full on, feel good (well, mostly ~ I mean, Viper. And Logan ~ kinda sorta but it’s also kinda understandable ~please note that I ADORE both these men) make your heart go all kinds of warm and gooey novella that will have you laughing and swooning in equal measure. While I think one could dive in without reading about these characters, I highly, HIGHLY recommend that you pick a few and dive into their books before picking this one up. The reason this crossover has me all kinds of happy is because I have read about all of them and ‘know’ them on such a level that all their little quirks totally make sense to me.  But I loved catching up with them all and while all the men get my blood pumping, I gotta say that Paige ~ our very own P.I.T.A ~ kinda stole the show! ~ Copy provided by the

~**~ ARC Review: The Princess Knight (The Scarred Earth Saga #2) by G.A. Aiken ~**~

***5 ‘Raging Insanity’ Stars*** *does a Carlton-esque happy dance* Ok that ending...that I’m totally down with!! *squeee in absolute delight over what is to come* But first my thoughts on this addition to the series…I’m going to sound like a broken recorded because I think I say basically the same thing about all the books by this author...this was all kinds of snort/laugh OTT crazy chaotic goodness!  With all the unique characters, their strange and hostile (most of the time) yet loving (some of the time) relationships with each other, it’s hard for me not to love it all. Now for Gemma and Quinn, well this quote from the book sums it up pretty well  ”Both of you are too annoying to be with anyone else” But outside of what they are to each other, they are both stubborn, protective and truly want to do the right thing, even if it means annoying the hell out of each other and everyone around them. As for the series story arc, a lot of ground was covered in this book when it came to all t
