~**~ ARC Review: A Hero’s Christmas Hope (Holidays in Hearts Falls #3) by Vivian Arend ~**~

***5 Stars***

If you are looking for a quick, low on drama, fun holiday read then this one will definitely hit the spot and have you looking at a holiday classic in a unique way.

I loved Ryan and Madison. Ryan is simply a good man who is doing a great job raising a sweet and precocious little girl. Madison is sweet, sassy and has a way of making friends with anyone and everyone she meets. Their friends to lovers journey was all kinds of fun. It was easy to see how they could be friends, they had an ease with each other that could only come from spending a lot of time together at some point in their lives, and even with distance have kept in touch. But it was fun to watch as they reconnected and found that what they were feeling for each other was a lot more than friendship and I loved how it all worked out for them.

This was a low on drama read, which could have made it seem a bit boring, but that wasn’t the case. There is an energy throughout the book ~ mostly thanks to Madison ~ that kept things really interesting.  And as for the residents of Heart Falls. Talia was all kinds of fun and I loved catching up and hanging out with everyone ~ especially Brooke and Mack. There was a lovely tease about which couple is up next and I cannot wait to get my hands on their book!

This hero needs a holiday miracle or two—and she’s just the one to deliver.

Single father Ryan Zhao didn’t expect a ghost from his past to literally slide back into his life. His longtime friendship with Madison Joy is a pure, sweet memory, and with the holidays fast approaching, her surprise visit is perfect. Maddy’s a breath of fresh air, full of ideas and enthusiasm—and far too attractive to a lonely man like him. Best friends to lovers might be tempting, but it’s also dangerous since she’s leaving after Christmas.

Madison thrives on fixing things. If Ryan insists she stick around and bother him and his adorable daughter for all of December, she’ll do what she can to make his life brighter. Which means reviving their ugly sweater tradition, organizing a not-so-traditional Nutcracker—and fighting to keep from falling in love with her former best friend and his motherless child.

She’s already given up her dreams once to help take care of her family. No matter how much he wants her to stay, Ryan refuses to ask her to do it again for him and his little girl.  Can holiday magic find a way to take these two lonely hearts from friends to forever?
