Hello Feels.

And I mean ALL. THE. FEELS.

I’m not sure if I should categorize this one as a roller coaster or a yo-yo with the way it had my emotions going crazy, but it was one hell of an intense one that yanked me in from the first page and had me #multitasking because putting it down wasn’t an option. The need to know how everything with Eden and Knox played out was intense and I didn’t stop turning the pages until there were no more words to read.

I loved and adored Eden and Knox. Eden is sweet and sassy in equal measure, despite the fact that her heart is still healing over the loss of her husband. But the woman is strong and I loved watching as she took the steps to start truly living again. Knox. OMG this man. I spent the ENTIRE book wanting to hug him and Gibbs smacking some sense into him in equal measure. He keeps himself so walled off from everyone and everything that it’s painful because the heart that beats beneath all those layers of protection is a golden…

I readily admit that the whole badass biker becoming a wedding planner to help his pregnant sister out was what peaked my curiosity, not that I don’t believe a badass biker could plan a wedding, because I do, but since this one appeared to be quite reluctant, the need to find out just what happens to the poor man was strong. Couple that curiosity with the whole opposites attract romance and I had no choice but to get my hands on this book and I have to say that I thoroughly enjoyed it all. It was sweet, smexy, funny, cringe worthy in more ways than one and filled with a ton of heart and kept me turning the pages until the very end.

Velma. Here’s the thing about Velma. I really liked her and totally understood her way of thinking, not so much because I do or have done what she does, but because I had a friend who did the list and planning things, so I got it. And while she did drive me a bit batshitcrazy at times, I found her to be compassionate, sentimental and sassy and…

I do love me some second chance romance. It doesn’t really matter if it’s an angsty or sweet, though I will be honest and say I do like a good serving of angst, I simply enjoy watching as two people come to the realization that the attraction, the connection, that they once had is still there and work through the issues that drove them apart and Dear Jane served up a good dose of that for me. It was a sweet, funny and smexy ride that while low on the OTT angsty drama, it did serve up a few moments that caused the rolling of eyes and growling in frustration as I kept turning the pages to see just where Jane and Weston would end up.

I really liked Jane. She’s sassy, sweet, hard working and intelligent and the fact that she is all about football and worked her way up in the organization on her own merit. Weston. This man. He is a good man, who loves his job and does his best to keep the drama on the DL, but he does tend to do the tunnel vision thing and sometimes the conver…

Words like unnatural and impure started the whispers. From the very beginning, Ivy Blackwood was different. She was only a child when she was accused of setting the fire, one she passively watched engulf the small house she had called home. Her fingertips burned and her hair singed. Some who watched her crossed themselves, convinced she was soulless for she showed no emotion at all. Calm and dispassionate, even when the screaming started that quickly turned to bellows of agony before dying into nothing but the roaring of the fire. She was locked away where she couldn’t bring harm to herself or others. To all involved, they had protected the world from a monster, but sometimes things are not what they seem.
