~**~ ARC Review: Take Me Now (The Knight Brothers #3.5) by Carly Phillips ~**~

***5 Stars*** When this baby showed up as a nice little treat from the author, I was, of course, pleasantly surprised, but was a little confused since I’d heard nothing about it.So, I did a little searching and found nothing, but then I opened it and I did a little happy dance because after meeting Harper in Take Me Down I really wanted her to get a HEA and she has! I loved Harper. Sweet, sassy, driven and loyal. She’s the total package. Matt...well, he had to work a little bit harder at getting to the same position as Harper for me, but he did by finally stepping up to the plate, coming clean and showing Harper just how much she meant to him. While this is a short story, it gave me everything I was hoping for and a bit more and ended up being a fun, quick read. ~ Copy provided by the author & voluntarily reviewed ~ He acts like he barely knows her. But she knows he’s the one. Matt Banks was ready to tell Harper Sanders that he loved her, that he’d always l

~**~ ARC Review: Handle With Care (Shaking Up #5) by Helena Hunting ~**~

***4 Stars*** I wanted Lincoln and I got Lincoln ~ and dear lord was he all kinds of goodness But… I also got a whole lot more than I expected in Wren and I loved every moment of their journey! I loved Lincoln and Wren. Lincoln is a lovable grump. He is the black sheep of the family, or at least his immediate family, and revels in it. He is comfortable in his own skin and has a genuinely good heart. Wren is a force to be reckoned with. She knows when to lay down the law and take crap from no one, but she also knows when to be gentle. That mix, combined with a quick wit and a good heart made her a lot of fun to get to know. Wren and Lincoln’s journey definitely started off on an interesting foot and had it’s bumps in the road, but I loved watching them get to know each other and come to realize how much they truly liked who the other person was at their very core. Their bantering/snark/poking was a lot of fun and the smexy was HAWT and I loved where then found themselves

~**~ ARC Review: That Forever Girl (Getting Lucky #2) by Meghan Quinn ~**~

***4 Stars*** After reading That Second Chance, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on the rest of the books in the series, so I was all kinds of excited to dive into this baby and in the end, I ended up loving Rogan and Harper, but lemme tell you...If it hadn’t been for the Knightly clan, I may have had to toss this baby into the freezer. The frustration was soooo real...but thankfully that lightbulb moment happened and from then on, I couldn’t put the book down and was very happy with where Rogan and Harper ended up. Rogan. This man. I hurt for him. I wanted to take 2x4 to his head and knock some sense into him but I also ended up falling in love with him once the walls he’d built up came tumbling down and the sweet man with a good heart underneath it all finally came out to play.  I really liked Harper. She’s sweet, sassy and isn’t afraid to speak her mind. She’s at a crossroads of sorts and I loved how honest she was through it all and how she came out stronger on the other s

~**~ ARC Review: Kiss Me Not (Kiss Me #1) by Emma Hart ~**~

***4.5 ‘Betty’ Stars*** This was a fun, quick read that had me chuckling even when I was rolling my eyes and not only rooting for Halley and Preston to get their acts together, but also looking forward to spending a lot more time with all of the inhabitants of Creek Falls. I loved Halley. She’s sweet, sassy and has a golden and genuine heart. She’s also a bit competitive and snarky, but it only adds to her charm. Preston is a good guy, but one who is a little wary of letting people get close to him. He’s charming, sweet and once he sets his sights on something ~ or someone ~ he does everything he can to get it. Halley and Preston’s journey was a fun one. There weren’t all that many bumps in their road caused by outside interlopers, but they did have a lot of preconceived notions to get past ~ not only about each other, but themselves ~ which caused a lot of eye rolling on my part, but also a lot of laughter, But once they did, it was obvious that they had that something tha

He’s the quiet brooding guy who’s owned my heart since I was sixteen but has refused to claim it. I’m the naïve woman who believes that someday our time will come. I just didn’t realize that someday would include waking up in Vegas with a raging hangover and a ring on my finger. If we believed in fate, maybe one of us would’ve trusted that something more powerful than ourselves interceded because our love is one of tangled vines. As twisted and frayed as they’ve become over the years, they’ve never broken. An annulment seemed like the easy way out. We should’ve known it wouldn’t be fate that intervened, but our Italian Mamas.
