~**~ ARC Review: Rocky Mountain Forever (Six Pack Ranch) by Vivian Arend ~**~

***5 Stars*** I have to say that this book, to me, is a huge thank you to the fans of the series for reading each book and always wanting more because this isn’t just about Mark and Dana and them getting an HEA, it’s a true...not wrap up of the seris, but a what’s been going on after they got their HEA. This is like all of the “slices of life” we’ve wanted from this very well loved and long running series all packed into one book and it was so much fun to read.  Now, I’ll be honest and say that even with a family tree, I can’t keep up with the Coleman’s ~ because OHMYGERD there soooo many of them, but, as I am a huge fan of family dynasty style series, this was still a great read. I loved seeing how all the brothers, sisters, cousins, Aunts, Uncles and then some interacted and were truly all up in each others business. But as for Mark and Dana. I loved them both. Mark has always been a ghost in the series. Mentioned here and there, but always in passing, so it was fun to see him co...

~**~ ARC Review: A Hero’s Christmas Hope (Holidays in Hearts Falls #3) by Vivian Arend ~**~

***5 Stars*** If you are looking for a quick, low on drama, fun holiday read then this one will definitely hit the spot and have you looking at a holiday classic in a unique way. I loved Ryan and Madison. Ryan is simply a good man who is doing a great job raising a sweet and precocious little girl. Madison is sweet, sassy and has a way of making friends with anyone and everyone she meets. Their friends to lovers journey was all kinds of fun. It was easy to see how they could be friends, they had an ease with each other that could only come from spending a lot of time together at some point in their lives, and even with distance have kept in touch. But it was fun to watch as they reconnected and found that what they were feeling for each other was a lot more than friendship and I loved how it all worked out for them. This was a low on drama read, which could have made it seem a bit boring, but that wasn’t the case. There is an energy throughout the book ~ mostly thanks to Madison ~ that...

~**~ ARC Review: The Bear’s Forever Mate (Borealis Bears #3) by Vivian Arend ~**~

***4 Stars*** This was a quick, fun read and while I’m sad that this is the last in the series, I loved the way everything ended up for the Borealis clan. Amber is all kinds of awesome. She’s had an interesting life, one filled with ups and downs that have shaped her, but she’s persevered and is living her best life possible. Cooper is all about his family and their company. He’ll do anything for them ~ well, almost ~ but he’s also all about his ‘lists’ obsessively (and kind of irritatingly) so, but his heart is in the right place. Cooper and Amber’s journey to their HEA was a fun one, especially since Cooper the adorable polar bear puts his paw into the mix. I loved their bantering and how Amber constantly kept Cooper on his toes, while he in turn became even more enamored of the woman. Their bump in the road was an interesting one, but made sense in the context of what a mating is and I really enjoyed how it all worked out in the end. The Bear’s Forever Mate was a great...

~**~ ARC Review: The Bear’s Fated Mate (Borealis Bears #2) by Vivian Arend ~**~

***5 Stars*** This was a fun, quick, smexy as sin read that was low on drama and had me grinning the entire time. I adored Alex and Lara. Alex is a bit of a grump, but he comes by it honestly as he is all about protecting his family’s interests. But underneath it all is a man who cares deeply and a bear who is all kinds of fun. Lara is awesome! She’s sweet, sassy and can definitely hold her own in any situation. Their enemies to lovers journey wasn’t a lot of fun. I loved their bantering and simply how well matched they were on every level. There angsty drama was low ~ which I loved ~ but they had a few road bumps to deal with, but they were handled well and I’m very happy with how everything turned out for the two of them. This is simply a fun, quick read that hooked me from the start. All of the characters ~ from the meddling grandfather to Alex and Lara’s own ‘animals’ ~ are all kinds of fun and I cannot wait to get my hands on Cooper’s book! ~ Copy provided by the a...

~**~ ARC Review: The Bear’s Chosen Mate (Borealis Bears #1) by Vivian Arend ~**~

***4 Stars*** After I read the blurb, I basically made grabby hands at this baby ~ okay, I would have anyways considering who the author is, but still ~ because it sounded like it was going to be a whole lot of fun and it was! It was a fun, quick, low on drama but hella smexy read filled with characters I want more of. I really liked James and Kaylee and their journey from friends to mates was a lot of fun to experience, especially when it came to all that goes on during the mating fever *fans face and grins*. Their friendship was solid, but I loved watching as they both FINALLY dove into something deeper and showed just how well they truly knew who the other was and how open and honest they were about their insecurities, wants and desires. This was an easy, very character driven read that I absolutely enjoyed. While the romance side was easy, the world is complex and vibrant when it comes to the unique characters that inhabit it. Grandpa Giles is a character and I loved se...

~**~ ARC Review: The Cowgirl’s Forever Love (Coleman’s of Heart Falls #1) by Vivian Arend ~**~

***4 ‘I Bet’ Stars*** Diving into one of Vivian Arend’s books always feels like coming home and The Cowgirl’s Forever Love was no different. It was sweet, funny, smexy and filled with a lot of heart, along with that small town vibe where everyone is all up in everyone else’s business and giving a not so unobtrusive nudge here and there when they feel it’s necessary. I loved Lisa and Josiah. Both are good, hard working people who tend to put others ahead of themselves, but they thrive on being there for them and helping when and where they can. Lisa has a sneaky streak, but comes by it honestly and good naturedly. And Josiah is simply a good man, who has a few...quirks...insecurities...that I would never have guessed at, but all they did was make me love him harder for it. As for their journey to their HEA. It was a lot of fun. I loved how upfront and honest they were about what they were feeling and what they wanted, or at least thought they wanted, not only for themsel...

~**~ ARC Review: A Rancher’s Bride (Heart Falls #4) by Vivian Arend ~**~

***5 ‘Rightest Thing’ Stars*** I was all kinds of excited when it was announced that this book would be about Luke and Kelli because I already liked both of them, but then when I saw that there would be a ‘fake relationship’ thing going on, well, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on their story and A Rancher’s Bride did not disappoint! It was a fun, sweet and smexy read and filled with great characters and a lot of heart. Kelli is a spitfire. This girl is made of grit, steel and a whole lot of heart. She may be a little cautious when it comes to letting people in, but when she does, she gives them everything she has and then some. Luke is a sweetheart, an Alpha, but a sweetheart. He’s hard working and loves what he does. He can be a little clueless at times, but once he figures things out, he’s all in. Kelli and Luke’s journey to their HEA was a lot of fun. What helped things along was the fact that they were already friends, but what made it fun was how their views of each o...

~**~ ARC Review: A Firefighter’s Christmas Gift (Holiday’s in Heart Falls #1) by Vivian Arend ~**~

***5 Stars*** If you’re looking for a feel good Christmas themed romance then this is the one for you. It was a fun, sweet, low on angst, but high on heartwarming moments read that I devoured in no time flat and wanted more of even after there no more words to read. I adored Brad and Hanna.  ADORED. Brad is simply a good man. When he decides that he wants something he doesn’t back down, but for all his stubborn determination he isn’t overbearing. He takes in everything that is going on and goes with the flow. Hanna is a strong woman. Getting pregnant as a teen and being a single parent hasn’t been easy, but she’s done everything she can to ensure her daughter is happy and healthy. She’s sassy and sweet and despite the hurt that she carries on her heart, she doesn’t allow it to turn her bitter. Their journey to their HEA was a lot of fun to experience. While the reason why they ended up cohabitating was heartbreaking, their journey definitely fell on the low on angst sid...
