~**~ ARC Review: Rocky Mountain Forever (Six Pack Ranch) by Vivian Arend ~**~

***5 Stars***

I have to say that this book, to me, is a huge thank you to the fans of the series for reading each book and always wanting more because this isn’t just about Mark and Dana and them getting an HEA, it’s a true...not wrap up of the seris, but a what’s been going on after they got their HEA. This is like all of the “slices of life” we’ve wanted from this very well loved and long running series all packed into one book and it was so much fun to read.

Now, I’ll be honest and say that even with a family tree, I can’t keep up with the Coleman’s ~ because OHMYGERD there soooo many of them, but, as I am a huge fan of family dynasty style series, this was still a great read. I loved seeing how all the brothers, sisters, cousins, Aunts, Uncles and then some interacted and were truly all up in each others business.

But as for Mark and Dana. I loved them both. Mark has always been a ghost in the series. Mentioned here and there, but always in passing, so it was fun to see him come back into the fold and how he showed each and every one of his family that he was there to stay. Now Dana, she’s been through a lot, but she is a strong woman who has learned what she doesn’t want and is now ready to truly move forward. And as for Mark and Dana’s HEA, honestly I’m thrilled for them and loved watching as they reconnected and found that there was more between them than they could have imagined.

It is somewhat bittersweet that this may just be the last installment of the series, though in all honesty a next generation spinoff is totally possible, but as I said in the beginning, this is a thank you from the author. She gave us readers the updates that we all wanted on our favorite characters and did it in such a way that it will leave a huge smile on everyone’s faces when that last chapter is read.

It’s never too late for love.

Years ago, Mark Coleman made the only possible choice and left Rocky Mountain House before he tore his family apart. When he hears the four clans—Six Pack, Whiskey Creek, Moonshine and Angel—are working together to create a memory book, Mark also discovers the one detail that finally triggers his return.

Because he’s not just coming back to the family. Now that Dana is free and ready to move on, Mark plans to give the only woman he’s ever loved all the devotion and happiness she deserves, no matter how much sweet-talking, or dirty talk,  it takes.

Meanwhile, when a shocking truth is shared with the oldest of the Six Pack sons, Blake Coleman begins a journey of assessment. Can he really fill his father’s boots and be the leader his generation turns to for guidance?

With lots of visits with all your favourite Colemans, this is a celebration of love and the lessons learned along the way.

Warning: this book is full of happily-ever-afters. Lots of I love yous, lots of babies, lots of laughter and happy tears. Pretty much, readers familiar with the series have a ton of feel-good hours of reading ahead. If you want angst—this isn’t it.
