***4 Stars*** I knew going into this book that it would be one of those that would give me a lovely case of whiplash and or sore eyes from all the rolling and I was spot on. Canaan and Maggie’s second chance romance did a number on me in the frustration/irritation department, but mixed in with that was a lot of heart and sweetness and my curiosity as what it would take for Maggie to crack kept me turning the pages until the very end. Canaan and Maggie took me on a roller coaster of a ride with their journey. I didn’t necessarily flip flop over whose team I was on because they both contributed to the demise of their marriage as well as their five year separation. I was equally on both teams because what I saw were two people who were still in love with each other and needed to confront and come clean about what tore them apart the first time and see if they could work past it.
