~**~ Release Blitz for Hills of Shivers and Shadows (Frozen Fate #1) by Pam Godwin w/ Review ~**~

***5 Stars*** My first reaction was WTF?!? And that reaction never really left me, even as the story progressed and questions were answered and relationships happened and then that ending…yes, I know this is a trilogy and a cliffhanger was expected but THAT was not…Not. At. All. So even as I’m writing this, I’m making grabby hands at the next book in the trilogy and giving the author the evil eye for doing that to me, but such is life. As for all that happens, as this is a trilogy I’m going to be very, very vague, but first things first. I love Frankie. My first impression of her was that she was fierce and that impression stayed with me throughout the book. As for the others…some I loved, some well let's just say some violent tendencies wanted to come out to play. But all the characters made for a page turner of a read and has me wanting more. But a note: This is a dark romance and I do mean DARK. TW’s abound and for the most part, there are no limits. The author does list them...

~**~ New Release: A Ship of Bones and Teeth: A dark Little Mermaid retelling by Karina Halle w/ Review ~**~

***5 Stars*** I’m a sucker for fairytale retellings of any kind…sweet, contemporary, paranormal…you name it and I’ll definitely perk up and when an author I already fangirl over announces that she’s about to dabble in them? Weeell, I’m ALL in and I freakin’ loved this retelling! It has all the main elements of the Little Mermaid but with twists that kept me turning the pages to see what would happen next. And then we have Maren and Ramsey. Can I just say that I freakin’ adored both of them. Maren is a force to be reckoned with, even when she doesn’t realize it. She regrets the choices she made as a girl, but man, watching her acknowledge all that she is and own it was awesome. Ramsey…well, the man is book boyfriend goodness. Yes, he is morally gray and has interesting way of getting things done, but he is a pirate who is loyal to those that are loyal to him and will go to the ends of the world for them.  Their journey to their HEA was definitely a fun one, for me the reader, not so...

~**~ ARC Review: Wrathful Souls (Sons of Templar MC - New Mexico #3) by Anne Malcom ~**~

***5 Stars*** I knew going in, that this book would be intense and brutal, and it was on all fronts. But it was also a beautiful, if not frustrating, love story that kept me turning the pages until the bitter end. I freakin’ adored Colby and Sariah. They frustrated me to no end in equal measure, but they definitely kept things interesting. Colby is all kinds of stubborn and determined alpha male. At times it was a bit OTT for me, but he has a certain charm and way of seeing who a person is at their core that softened his neanderthal tendencies. Sariah is fierce, blunt and loyal and when she decides on something, she goes all in ~ even if it may be detrimental to her safety. Her journey was brutal, but in the end she came out stronger than ever. To say that Sariah and Colby’s journey was a lesson in frustration is an understatement, but with two such strong and independent personalities colliding, there was no other way it could be. The chemistry between them was crazy strong and despit...

It’s time to raise a little HAVOC. ***5 Stars*** First things first…I freakin’ LOVED Lily and Zane together. LOVED.  They have a similar energy and they just worked for me, even when the shit hit the fan. They also have a protective streak a mile wide when it comes to those they love, so they fit. They work and I loved them together. But… ...

~**~ ARC Review: Wicked by Amo Jones ~**~

***5 Stars*** After reading quite a few of the author’s books, I have to admit that a good portion of my enjoyment of her stories is the whiplash she puts my mind through with all the crazy twists and turns she comes up with. Nothing, and no one, is truly what they appear to be and I find it absolutely fascinating. With that said, this baby is FILLED will twists and turns and as this is a spoiler free review, it means I can only say so much…which is really not much at all..but as for Ruby and Wicked. Ruby is that strange mix of fierce, feisty and a little scary, but also…naive or at least blind when it comes to certain people and situations ~ understandable considering who her family is. Wicked is all kinds of protective alpha male, he doesn’t like to show it and at times it is extreme, but he cares even when he doesn’t want to. To say that these two are explosive together is an understatement and they take the saying “A fine line between love and hate” to the extreme, but they speak t...

~**~ ARC Review: Beast (Beast & Beauty Duet #1) Clarissa Wild ~**~

***5 Stars*** Beauty and the Beast is my fav fairytale, so whenever I see a book stating that it’s based on/inspired by…etc, my interest is piqued. When it’s an author I already enjoy, well, I’m all in to see how they will take the tale and make it their own, and boy has this author made it her own and I gotta say that I really enjoyed it. Now, as this is a duet and only the first book in the duet with a bit of a cliffy, this review is going to be short and sweet and vague. Overall, I love Beast and Aurora. Beast is brutal, but he is also protective…as a beast should be. Aurora is an interesting one. At times she is naive but is quite stubborn when she wants to be. As for their journey, there is something between them and they both have what the other seems to need in this world, so we’ll see how things evolve further in the next book. As I said, I like the way the author has made this story her own. It is dark and there are triggers, but there is quite a bit of heat and a good dose of...

~**~ Release Blitz for Viking (VII Knight's Tale) by Carmen Jenner w/ Review ~**~

VIKING by Carmen Jenner     Release Date: April 16th     Genre/Tropes: Dark Romance/Age Gap/MC Romance      AVAILABLE NOW!!!     Amazon US: https://amzn.to/3tku0tG   ***5 Stars*** This baby was dark, disturbing, bloody and brutal in more ways than one, but that all faded into the background when Viking and Arie were together. They brought humor, heart and heat to the story and I was quite saddened when there were no more words to read. Obviously I adored Viking and Arie. Viking is morally gray, but still has morals that are deeply embedded in his own code of honor. Arie is a work in progress, but one that has a spine of steel and clever mind. Their journey to the HEA was a lot of fun as they learned about each other, and themselves, as they collided in a very not so meet cute way and found themselves bound to each other in ways they never could have imagined.  This is my first read by the author and I thoroughly enjoyed the rid...
