~**~ ARC Review: Justified (Loveless, Texas #1) by Jay Crownover ~**~

***5 Stars*** I really enjoyed Unbreakable (Loveless, Texas #0.5), and it most certainly had me wanting the next book in the series ASAP, but I LOVED Justified. I mean seriously LOVED it. I was hooked from the first page and between the intense chemistry between Case and Aspen and trying figure who was after Aspen, I couldn’t put it down and wasn’t all that happy to say good bye for now when there were no more words to read. Ok, so I adored Case. I did. He’s a really good man, father and person. He has a big heart and honor is etched on his soul...BUT...even though I totally empathized with what happened to him in regards to his son, he has the asshattery thing down pat. The man could get vicious and, as horrible as this is to say, I LOVED it when that lightbulb moment hit him and how it affected him. Aspen was amazing. She has a huge heart and regardless of the situation she finds herself in, she finds a way to pick herself up and make it work. I loved her strength and how,...

~**~ ARC Review: Unbroken (Loveless, Texas #0.5 ) by Jay Crownover ~**~

***4 Stars*** This was a great intro to a new series. It had just the right balance of humor, heart, drama and smexy and characters I want to get to know better. Crew and Della were a lot of fun. Crew is a sweetheart, he really is. He may not know when to reign it in, but the man is a good one with more charm and charisma than he knows what to do with. Della is a spitfire. Hardworking and stubborn, she know what she wants and isn’t afraid to do what it takes to make it happen. Though things happen quickly between them, there was enough of that spark, that connection, between them that had me believing that they could have more if they were given the chance. The roadblock in their journey wasn’t unexpected, though what brought them back together was and I have to say I didn’t see that one coming, but I really liked how things turned out for them when everything was said and done. Things tend to be quick in a novella, and they did here, but I felt like I got everything I need...

~**~ Review: Riveted (Saints of Denver #3) by Jay Crownover ~**~

***4 “They Just Knew” Stars*** The description had me thinking up all kinds of scenarios as what could happen between Church and Dixie, but none of them came even close to any of it, and thank f*ck for that because it was so much better! It went in a direction that I found sweet, smexy and heartfelt with a dash of suspense thrown in there to keep things interesting as Church and Dixie navigated their way to what could be the love of a lifetime. Church is all kinds of smexy, silent, broody male who has closed off his heart and refuses to let anyone in. He’s done his best to keep people at arm’s length and continues to punish himself over things that he had no control of and would prefer to wallow in the darkness than live in the light. I really liked Church, he’s an upstanding guy, protective and loyal and when he allows it, sweet, considerate and sexy as hell. His reason for why he’s shut himself off from love isn’t necessarily logical or rational, but I got why he th...
