***4 Stars*** I knew going into this book that I’d probably have some sort of whiplash, whether it was because of Val and Larinda or Chad (IYKYK) and I did but I also found that there were some funny and heartwarming moments that kept me turning the pages to see Val and Larinda get the HEA they both deserved. I really liked Val and Larinda. Larinda is a sweetheart who doesn’t always see just how strong she is. Val is a really good guy who hasn’t had the easiest life and at times lets the demons of his past run roughshod over his life. Their journey to their HEA was definitely an interesting one with a lot of ups and downs and situations that made my head spin at times, but I liked the chemistry and flow between them and how they got to know each other better as the book progressed and found that they could have the life they never even thought to dream of.
