The cover? The title?  All of the above? I don’t know. But I do k

~**~ ARC Review: Foretold (A St. Bastian Institute Novel) by L.H. Cosway ~**~

***5 Stars*** Having read and enjoyed the Blood Magic series, I was all in to dive into this spin off, and I wasn’t disappointed. This was a fun, quick read filled with great characters, both new and old, and a new threat to Tribane. As far as Darya and Peter go, I pretty much adored them. They both have their own issues, especially when you consider who their parents are and all that they went through, but they are really good people with good hearts and seem to know who they are and what they want in life. Watching as they go from just classmates to friends to more was a lot of fun, and quite unique with the whole telepathy thing coming into play. But outside of that, they had a great flow, even when things got awkward and balanced each other out in ways I don’t think they even realized. This book does take place quite a few years after the end of the Blood Magic series and I liked seeing the changes Tribane and its citizens have gone through. Do you NEED to read the Blood Magic seri

~**~ ARC Review: Beauty and the Baller by Ilsa Madden-Mills ~**~

***5 ‘Glow’ Stars*** I have to admit that the start of this book had me going “Uuugmmm…” not in a bad way, I promise, but it was definitely an interesting start to things. And did have it’s eyebrow raising, eye rolling, heavy sigh moments, but…and this is the important one BUT it also had a bunch of heartwarming and hilarious moments and was filled with such great characters ~ with a few exceptions ~ that I ended up absolutely loving it and hoping that we get more from this crew in the future. Nova and Ronan. I loved them. I did. Nova is a force and an enigma. One minute she is all kinds of confidant and fearless and the next she’s struggling with her own insecurities. I loved how she owned all that she was, even the things that others may look down on, she owned herself in every way. Ronan. This man. He’s got walls built up around him a country mile wide, but even with his standoffish-ness (though in one situation I totally agree with how he uses it) he has a good soul and it shines t

~**~ ARC Review: The Player in New Zealand (Love and Wanderlust #4) by Liz Alden ~**~

***4 Stars*** There are many reasons why people pick up the books they read. Author. Cover. Subject. Or even the title and when I saw “New Zealand” in the title, my curiosity peaked.  Then I saw Rugby and I was all like gimmegimmegimme..because I love New Zealand and Rugby is my fav sport (especially when it’s AB’s rugby) So I had to jump in and I gotta say, I thoroughly enjoyed this book. From the characters and their antics to the setting, it all worked for me and has me really wanting to visit New Zealand again. I adored Claire and Tane. Claire may see herself as a bit grouchy and quirky, she owns it all. She is vivacious and definitely not afraid to speak her mind in most situations. Tane. First impressions weren’t great, but as the book progresses, you see just how huge his heart is and how charming he can be and it was hard to not fall in love with him.  Their journey to their HEA may have started out a bit rocky, but it was a fun one. I really liked them together. Their banterin

~**~ Release Blitz for CRAZY, WICKED LOVE (The Wickeds: Dark Knights at Bayside #3) Melissa Foster w/ Review ~**~

***5 Stars*** It is so hard not to fall in love with these characters.  Even when they do things that make my eyes roll and have me growling, I still love and adore them and can’t stop turning the pages to see what will happen next. Obviously, I loved and adored Sidney and Gunner, and how could I not? These two are simply good people with good hearts, are charming, honorable and work with rescue animals to get them happy, healthy and into good homes. What’s not to like?  And as for their journey to their HEA? It was all kinds of fun, frustrating, but fun. There was no doubt from the start that they were perfect for each other. Their bantering was a lot of fun and they knew each other inside out, so it was fun to watch as the friend zone lines started to blur and then disappear all together. While this one is pretty low on the angst, there are a moments that hit both of them hard, but I loved how things were worked out and where they were at in their relationship in the end. As I said,
