~**~ ARC Review: Capturing Fate (Fatal Truth #2) by Abbie Roads ~**~

***5 ‘Snake’ Stars*** I’ve been waiting for Dolan and Daught’s story for a long LONG time and the author did not disappoint. This was a crazy ride from start to finish and there were quite a few “W.T…?!?!” that came out of my mouth, but I was hooked until the very end. I loved Dolan and Daughter aka Daught. They are resilient, determined and have a code of honor and sense of loyalty that drew me in. They also have murky pasts that, as they come to light, make them even more amazing for all that they’ve accomplished in their lives. Their journey to their HEA is a strange mix of insta and insanely slow burn goodness, but they worked for me. They had that connection, that unexplainable thing that made it easy to see just how great they’d be together and I have to say that they got put through the wringer in this one and totally deserve all the goodness they got in the end. The wait for this book was worth it. The mind f*ck factor definitely made me do a few double takes along the way, but...

~**~ ARC Review: The Dirty Ones by J.A. Huss ~**~

***4 Stars*** My brain hurts. Not in a bad way...though saying it hurts in a good way may not be the correct thing to say either. It’s more that it’s still in overdrive mode even as I’m clawing my way out of this chaotic, yet fascinating, psychological rabbit hole called The Dirty Ones and this review will be all kinds of vague and verbal vomity, so reader beware. So, what can I say about this story without giving anything away? I was drawn in from the first page and even with all the mind bending twists and turns, which I couldn’t help but attempt to figure out, and I was absolutely fascinated by the story. The characters were all perfectly imperfect and intrigued me, though I did waffle quite a bit on how much I liked each of them...I never disliked any of them, but they all had their moments, which actually served to keep me turning the pages to see what would happen next. As for the romance aspect of the story. It’s there. It’s something that evolves even as the c...

~**~ ARC Review: Never Let Me Fall (Fatal Dreams #3) by Abbie Roads ~**~

***5 Stars*** If you’ve read any of the Fatal Dreams books you know that you need to keep your mind open to...well...basically everything (and if you haven’t, well, now you do). You need to simply accept that everything is possible and just roll with it because you will be taken on a journey and boy did this one take me on a journey. This one I pretty much devoured in no time flat and even gave me a “Whoa” moment that I wasn’t expecting, but ended up making absolute sense in the end. Helena and Thomas. There is so much I want to say about both of them, but that would involve me being all spoilery, which I try not to do. So, what I will say is that my heart bled for all they had endured in their lives and I couldn’t help but admire the strength they both had, even when they didn’t see it, to survive it all…and this is all before they even collide. But once they do all bets are off and I loved watching them both become more, not only for themselves but for each other. An...

It’s too easy. Nothing in my life has ever been easy. What’s the catch? There’s always a catch. ***5 ‘You’re Everything At Once’ Stars*** One of the things I love about K Webster’s books is that you never really know what you’re going to get, even when she comes out and tells you what the book will be like. There is always that moment where I wonder if I’m interpreting the blurb, or the teasers, co...
