***4 ‘Mine the Heart’ Stars*** I have to admit that it wasn’t the cover or the blurb that caught my attention, it was the little excerpt I read that did it, because how could a scene that involved the main characters, a shotgun and bailing twine NOT capture my attention. Well, after reading that I had no choice but to make grabby hands at the book and I’m really happy I did. Turquoise Mountain was a fun, quick and sweet yet sexy read filled with interesting characters, a lot of heart and with a good dose of Native American mysticism/woven into it that kept me turning the pages to see just what would happen next. I loved Dillon and Tessa. Tessa is a spitfire, she is a little impulsive, which can get her into sticky situations, but the reason behind it all is sound. Her determination to forge a better future for herself is something I admired, as was the way she didn’t back down from much, even when the odds were against her.
