~**~ ARC Review: Hangry (The Girls #1) by Lily Kate ~**~

***4 ‘My Universe Sparkles’ Stars*** This book, these characters ~ specifically Lexi and Brad ~ drove me up the wall and yet I never felt that urge to toss my Kindle into the freezer. I was sucked in from the beginning and actually enjoyed the many ups and downs of the story as a whole, even when it felt like my eyes would fall out of my head because of all the rolling they were doing. Hangry is a sweet, smexy and frustrating ride, but filled with a lot of laughter and heart. Even though Brad and Lexi drove me batshit crazy throughout the entire book, I couldn’t help but really like them when they weren’t pushing me to the edge of insanity. Brad is that person who has a good heart and isn’t afraid of working hard, but he’s also one that tends to overthink things when he should take action, but when he does take action he goes all in and is a force to be reckoned with. Lexi is that girl with a good and generous heart, at times too generous and that gets her into a bit a trouble...

~**~ ARC Review: Boss Girl (Minnesota Ice #2) by Lily Kate ~**~

***4 “Puzzles” Stars*** Having thoroughly enjoyed Delivery Girl, the author’s debut novel, I was definitely looking forward to seeing what she would be offering up next and I wasn’t disappointed. Boss Girl is a quick, easy and engaging read with just the right balance of humor, heart and drama and characters that will worm their way under your skin and into your heart. If you read Delivery Girl (You don’t HAVE to, but you should), you’ve already met Jocelyn Jones and may not have the best view of her. I actually found her quite intriguing and wanted to know what made her tick and I have to say that I absolutely admire the woman. Yes, she is all business and can be seen as icy, but she isn’t without heart and learning about her past and how it shaped her showed me that her heart is much bigger than anyone could even guess and seeing her evolve was a beautiful process. Landon Boxer was simply swoon worthy. Single dad, hockey hottie and one of the most down to earth guys a...

~**~ Release Blitz for Delivery Girl (Minnesota Ice #1) by Lily Kate w/ Review ~**~

***4 ‘Smiley Face Pizzas’ Stars*** When you read the description to a book and you start to smile before you’re even done reading, it’s a pretty good sign that you should give that book a try and see what happens and that’s just what I did and thoroughly enjoyed it. Delivery Girl is a fun, sexy RomCom that’s light on the drama but filled with a lot of heart and characters that you’ll laugh with, and at, all while falling in love with them. Andi is working at her father’s pizza parlor while she is finishing up college and working on making her dream career become a reality. She’s sweet, funny, has a self deprecating sense of humor and is a hard worker. She’s also a bit spastic and lets her mind run away from her at times, which leads her totally bypass her edit button and blurt things out without realizing it, but that little quirk made her all the more loveable even when I was shaking my head at the things she’d freak out about. Ryan is a rising hockey star at a ...
