~**~ ARC Review: Hers to Tame (NOLA Knights #2) by Rhenna Morgan ~**~

***5 ‘You And I Will Be’ Stars*** This baby was all kinds of fun! It was all kinds of sweet and smexy and filled with a lot of heart, as well as nice little bit of suspense thrown into the mix that kept things interesting. Also, it was filled with characters that I’ve come to love and some newbies that I want to spend lots more time with! I ADORED Cassie and Kir. Cassie is hard working, honest and all kinds of sweet and sassy. I loved the way her mind worked and how, even in her more vulnerable moments, how forthright she was. Kir is all kinds of Alpha AF, but not in an asshat way, more in a bulldozer kind of way. He just does what he feels is the right thing to do and simply expects to get it done, but beneath the bulldozer is a man who cares deeply for those he calls his own, which is why he rarely takes no for answer. Their journey to their HEA was all kinds of fun. The angst was low, the sweet and smexy was on point and I simply loved how they communicated with each ot...

~**~ ARC Review: His to Defend (NOLA Knights #1) by Rhenna Morgan ~**~

***5 ‘Inevitable’ Stars*** After meeting Sergei in Tempted and Taken I crossed my toes that we’d see more of him again and, as you can probably guess, I was all kinds of excited to hear that the toe crossing had paid off and couldn’t wait to get my hands on his book and it was everything I wanted and more. So. Much. More. It was all kinds of swoony, smexy and funny, add in a nice little mystery/suspense and a quite a few new characters I really want more of (as well as a getting a tinsy bit of time with old favs) and I got a book I didn’t want to end and when it did, it left me NEEDING more. Sergei. Talk about being Alpha AF goodness! He is a Bratva boss in every way that counts, but the man also has a strong sense of honor and has a heart that is a lot more golden than most would ever believe. Evette has all kinds of moxie going on. She’s sweet, sassy and fierce and has the innate goodness that draws you in and makes you want to spend time with her and hope that some of it ...

~**~ ARC Review: Down and Dirty (Men of Haven #6) by Rhenna Morgan ~**~

***5 ‘Family’ Stars*** I’ve loved and ADORED these books and the characters that run wild through them from the start and was, obviously, excited to get my hands on this one, not only because Axel was going to finally be brought to his knees, but because I just wanted to hang out with the Haven crew as a whole because they are simply a hell of a lot of fun and I wasn’t at all disappointed in any way. In fact, as a while, this is my favorite of the series because it gave me everything I had been hoping for, and a few things I didn’t know I wanted, and in the end, had me wishing there were more words to read because I didn’t want my time with this motley crew to end. I adored Axel and Lizzie, not that it comes as a surprise in any way shape or form, but they definitely had me entertained throughout the entire book. Axel is all kinds of alpha AF male goodness...and “good” is the operative word here. He’s protective, loyal, compassionate and has a quick and devious mind that simp...

~**~ ARC Review: Healer’s Need (Ancient Ink #2) by Rhenna Morgan ~**~

***4 Stars*** After the very interesting reaction Tate had to Elise in Guardian’s Bond, I couldn’t wait to see how everything played out for them and I wasn’t disappointed! I was sweet, smexy and filled with a lot of heart, as well a good dose of meddling by well meaning friends and family. I really liked Elise. She has a sweet, sassy side that most don’t get to see or experience because of the walls she has constructed around herself. Not that I could blame her after learning all she’d gone through in her short life, especially most recently. But I loved watching as those walls started to break down and evolve into a stronger version of herself. Tate, I loved. This man is all kinds of alpha AF. Protective and dominant, but compassionate and sweet all rolled up into one smexy package. I really enjoyed Elise and Tate’s journey to their HEA. It was that strange mix of insta and slow burn all rolled into one that made the sexual tension between them off the charts all the whil...

~**~ ARC Review: Stand & Deliver (Men of Haven #5) by Rhenna Morgan ~**~

***5 ‘#TeamHaven’ Stars*** I didn’t think it was possible. I didn’t. I didn’t think that any book coming after Tempted & Taken could best it, or at least push it to the side so that it could share the same spot. But I was wrong. I’m woman enough to admit that Ms. Morgan did just that, not only with Stand & Deliver as a whole, but with Beckett & Gia making Knox & Darya scootch over a bit so they can share the top spot as my favorite couples of the series. Because they were kinda everything, just like the book as a whole was. It was filled with sweet and swoon worthy, lots and lots of smexy, a good dose of suspense and a whole bunch of heart. Gia I LOVED upon first meeting her a few books ago. Fierce, independent, sassy and with a good dose of snark. This woman holds her own in a world where being a woman is difficult. But she hustles and loves what she does. But getting to see behind the armour she wears just solidified why I adore her. Beckett is sim...

~**~ ARC Review: Guardian’s Bond (Ancient Ink #1) by Rhenna Morgan ~**~

***5 Stars*** Rhenna Morgan doing up a new series? A PNR series and has a character named Priest? Ummm...Yes. Please. *making grabby hands* Hand it over. Now. (Mind you now was when the series was announced many moons ago but I needed to make a point) Soooo I may have followed *cough* stalked *cough* a certain site closely for it to become available and quickly clicked on that baby when it did. And though I did have to wait a bit before diving, I was not disappointed. Guardian’s Bond is a lush, vibrant, smexy, sensual start to a and all kinds of intriguing start to a new series with a bunch of characters I want more of, even the baddie. Priest. Yup, I’d totally worship at the altar that is Priest. No questions asked. No shame. Total kowtow and be absolutely at peace with the decision. The man is the kind of Alpha AF that is calming while causing you to anticipate more, even when that more is not something you cannot put into words, but know you simply want more of. He’s k...

~**~ ARC Review: Tempted & Taken (Men of Haven #4) by Rhenna Morgan ~**~

***5 ‘Necessary’ Stars*** Rhenna Morgan hit it out of the park with this one, not that I expected any less personally, but DAMN does this baby pack a punch in all the right ways: Alpha AF male, strong AF female, smexy as hell moments and lots of laughs and family time with a nice dose of suspense that kept me turning the pages until the very end and had me pouting because there were no more words to read. I will admit that I didn’t claim Knox right off the bat i.e. from the first time he appeared in Rough & Tumble (book 1) but he definitely made it on the radar in Wild & Sweet and was claimed via hashtag #KnoxIsMine long before Claim & Protect was done. And holy hell is this man EVERYTHING. He’s all kinds of sinfully smexy alpha AF male goodness, a little silly but still charming and then toss in the whole techy geek thing (which admittedly went over my head, but still…) and his huge...heart *BSEG* and I was done. Seriously...puddle of goo done. Darya. I’...
