~**~ Review Going Down Hard (Billionaire Bad Boys #3) by Carly Phillips ~**~

***4.5 ‘Team Cassie’ Stars*** And we have another sweet, smexy and fun read about our favorite billionaire (nerdy) bad boys and the women who bring them to their knees! Cassie appears to be a princess who was raised with a silver spoon in her mouth, but not all is as it seems and what’s underneath is more than anyone could expect. I absolutely adored Cassie! Yes, the girl was raised with money, but she isn’t the spoiled brat that most would assume. She’s a hard worker, has integrity in spades and appreciates what she has been given. She isn’t a wallflower or doormat and I loved how she stuck up for herself as well as humbled herself when the situation called for it. Derek grew up being told he wasn’t good enough because of what his parents did for a living, so he set out to prove that he was more than just the status unto which he was born and through hard work he proved it a billion times over. I loved Derek, I did, but damn the man can hold a grudge. One issue ...

~**~ ARC Review: Black Hearts (Sins Duet #1) by Karina Halle ~**~

***4 ‘I’m becoming the charade’ Stars*** I’m going to start off by stating that I did not read The Artists trilogy nor The Dirty Angels trilogy, I have them, but we all know how real the whole “So many books, so little time” thing is, but I will admit that I really want to now and will hopefully get there one day, but until then... Holy. Hell. Black Hearts is all kinds of dark smexy romance mixed with a good dose of mystery and suspense. So many secrets, so many lies and so many little games in play that I the anticipation of what would come next and by whose wickedly devious mind,  kept me turning the pages. Keeping this unspoilery as possible is gonna be damn hard, but here goes nothing. Vicente is smoking hot and devious, which comes as no surprise to anyone considering who his papa is. He sees himself as a cut above and in many ways he is and yet despite all he thinks he knows, he doesn’t know it all. I do love me a devious and morally sideways mind and...

~**~ ARC Review: Jack of Hearts (Ace & Eights #1) by Sandra Owens ~**~

***4 “Men Are Stupid” Stars*** This is one of those books where the cover drew me in enough to read the description, which definitely go me thinking, but also made me need to know how the series name, Ace & Eights was connected to the story and whadda you know? The series title makes total sense and I really enjoyed this book. It was fun, flirty, sexy and filled with well written characters that I want to know more about. Alex had a difficult childhood and though he does carry some pretty deep scars he came out of it on the right side of the line and is now working to put the bad guys away. Alex is all kinds of smexy alpha male. Despite the work he has to do, his code of honor and moral compass are still on point and though he will get the job done, he won’t compromise his own ethics. Madison’s dream of opening up her own bookstore with her best friend is finally becoming a reality and though she’s having some issues with her family, she isn’t letting it d...
