~**~ Release Blitz for Hills of Shivers and Shadows (Frozen Fate #1) by Pam Godwin w/ Review ~**~

***5 Stars*** My first reaction was WTF?!? And that reaction never really left me, even as the story progressed and questions were answered and relationships happened and then that ending…yes, I know this is a trilogy and a cliffhanger was expected but THAT was not…Not. At. All. So even as I’m writing this, I’m making grabby hands at the next book in the trilogy and giving the author the evil eye for doing that to me, but such is life. As for all that happens, as this is a trilogy I’m going to be very, very vague, but first things first. I love Frankie. My first impression of her was that she was fierce and that impression stayed with me throughout the book. As for the others…some I loved, some well let's just say some violent tendencies wanted to come out to play. But all the characters made for a page turner of a read and has me wanting more. But a note: This is a dark romance and I do mean DARK. TW’s abound and for the most part, there are no limits. The author does list them...

~**~ ARC Review: Wicked by Amo Jones ~**~

***5 Stars*** After reading quite a few of the author’s books, I have to admit that a good portion of my enjoyment of her stories is the whiplash she puts my mind through with all the crazy twists and turns she comes up with. Nothing, and no one, is truly what they appear to be and I find it absolutely fascinating. With that said, this baby is FILLED will twists and turns and as this is a spoiler free review, it means I can only say so much…which is really not much at all..but as for Ruby and Wicked. Ruby is that strange mix of fierce, feisty and a little scary, but also…naive or at least blind when it comes to certain people and situations ~ understandable considering who her family is. Wicked is all kinds of protective alpha male, he doesn’t like to show it and at times it is extreme, but he cares even when he doesn’t want to. To say that these two are explosive together is an understatement and they take the saying “A fine line between love and hate” to the extreme, but they speak t...

~**~ ARC Review: The Blood is Love (Dark Eyes #2) by Karina Halle ~**~

***5 Stars*** I asked, begged, pleaded for MORE and I most definitely got it with this baby. More of not only Lenore and Absolon, but Wolf, Amethyst, Ezra, Odin, Yvonne...and even some others that I may or may not have wanted more of, but still...this was what I needed and more. I already loved and adored Lenore and Absolon, and that didn’t change one bit. In fact, I ended up loving and adoring them more because we get to experience how they navigate their new norm. Both of their lives have shifted sideways ~ especially Lenore’s ~ and I really enjoyed how they worked through it together and became stronger as individuals, but also as a couple. This baby is filled with a bunch of twists and turns, some I figured out, some had me going WTF?!? And then there were a few moments of well, that was definitely eye opening...opening being the operative word...but in the end I thoroughly enjoyed getting a deeper look into this rich and dark world and all those that reside in it. And as for their...

~**~ Release Blitz for Lessons in Sin by Pam Godwin w/ Review ~**~

Lessons in Sin by Pam Godwin is now live! There's no absolution for the things I've done. But I found a way to control my impulses. I became a priest. As Father Magnus Falke, I suppress my cravings. As the headteacher of a Catholic boarding school, I'm never tempted by a student. Until Tinsley Constantine. The bratty princess challenges my rules and awakens my dark nature. With each punishment I lash upon her, I want more. In my classroom, private rectory, and bent over my altar, I want all of her. One touch risks everything I stand for. My faith. My redemption. And even my life. As if that could stop me. I need her pain, and her heart, and she needs my lessons in sin. ***5 ‘Team Tinsley’ Stars*** This book surprised me, in a good way (obviously), because it gave me all the dark and sensual moments that I’ve come to expect from this author, but it also gave me two characters I felt like I truly knew inside and out and got too see grow and become just who they were always me...

They were not the only ones to suffer at the priests’ hands. This Diel discovers when he stumbles upon Noa, second in ...

~**~ ARC Review: Truths That Saints Believe (The Klutch Duet #2) by Anne Malcom ~**~

***5 ‘I’ll Serve an Eternity in Hell for One Lifetime with You’ Stars*** Intense In every fucking way, this book was intense. And I don’t say that lightly or flippantly because that really is the only way to describe the not only the journey that Stella and Jay went on but, but all that happened around them.  Simply. Intense. Jay and Stella’s journey was definitely not the wine and roses kind, but in many ways it was way better and a hell of a lot more honest. I had said in my review of the first book that I didn’t know if their relationship was the most functional or dysfunctional one I’d ever encountered, but now I can say that it was the most functional. It was one that was brutal, dark and painful in its honesty, but one that took all of that and made them both stronger as a couple and as individuals, even when their vulnerabilities were laid bare. And when everything was said and done, I couldn’t have been happier for them. I have to say I wasn’t prepared for ALL that this boo...
