~**~ ARC Review: Trouble by Tia Louise ~**~

***4 Stars*** I think I was done for this weekend with reads that were going to do my head in because as much as Spencer and Joselyn fascinated me, they also gave me a huge case of whiplash.  I mean. OMG… So here’s the thing. Both Spencer and Joselyn care hard about those they call their own and have no problem jumping into the frey when necessary and I adored that about both of them. But what drove me batshitcrazy and yet fascinated me was how they were so adamant about the lines they’d drawn for themselves but kept breaking at every turn and to be very honest, I got why they did. The chemistry between them was electric and they had that “thing” that just worked for me, but lemme tell you, the push/pull was real in this one...my neck can totally attest to that. While Spencer and Sly took me on a ride, I loved catching up with Daisy, Scout & Melody (I ADORE Melody btw), JR & Jesse, Alice and Regina as well as meeting Courtney, Ollie and Tom. (I kinda wish there was more of ...

***4.5 Stars*** After meeting Scout in This Much is True and finding out all that he had been through, I definitely needed to see the man get his HEA because he really deserved it and I have to say that it was all kinds of sweet, smexy and adorable small town goodness.  I loved Scout and Daisy. Scout is a really good man. He has this way of looking at the world that has a very positive bent, sometimes he does do things to get his own way ~ so he is a bit sneaky ~ but his heart is in a good place. Daisy was a sweetheart with some fire to her that even she doesn’t always see. She knows what she wants to do with her life, and wasn’t afraid to go after it. Their journey to their HEA was a lot of fun to experience. Scout and Daisy have a flow to them that stems from the fact that they are friends and as that friendship becomes more it was even more apparent that they could be something one day. When that one day finally comes around, a lot happens at once, but I liked how it all played ...

~**~ ARC Review: This Much is True by Tia Louise ~**~

***4 Stars*** This baby took me on a ride I wasn’t expecting. I figured there would be some emotional upheaval going on, how could it not with a kid involved (a really cute, sweet one btw) but the other stuff...yeah, wasn’t expecting that, though it did keep me turning the pages to see how everything panned out, but this one hell of a ride. I really liked Hope and JR. Hope is something of an enigma. She’s got this innocence about her, but she’s also worldly. It’s an intriguing mix that had me wanting to know more about her. And then there is JR, he is a bit of a grump, but considering what happened to him, I couldn’t blame him one bit. But once you push that to the side, you get a man who is simply a good man, who loves deeply. Their journey was definitely an interesting one because it’s that strange mix of insta and slow burn all at the same time, but totally works while it’s happening. What I found interesting about JR and Hope was that on one hand, they are total opposites in how th...
