~**~ ARC Review: The Protector (Barrett Boys #3) by Jordan Ford ~**~

***4.5 Stars*** I must say, this author really does know how to make you want to get your hands on the next book in the series. As this is the first series/books I’ve ever read by her, I’m not sure if this is her norm, but man...that tease at the end of The Fighter had me making grabby hands at this baby and I wasn’t disappointed. I was hooked from the start and definitely experienced all the feels as I turned the pages and, yes, that ending has me needing/wanting/making grabby hands at the next book in the series. But until then...Brody and Indigo aka Indy. I adored Brody. Talk about being a good guy. Charming, a little quirky and sweet. After all he’s been through, Brody is still has this light to him that draws you in and makes you want to know more. Indigo is sweet, snarky, determined/stubborn and has walls around her a mile high, not that I blamed her. While she lives a privileged life, and knows it, she just wants to live a life outside of the spotlight and find people who cared ...

~**~ ARC Review: Sancte Diaboli: Part 1 (The Elite Kings #6) by Amo Jones ~**~

***5 ‘Too Rare For Earth, Too Doomed For Heaven’ Stars*** I, like practically every fan of the series has been DYING for Bran Bran’s story. To find out what is truly going on that head of his and to find out just who could create a sliver of light in the dark heart that resides in his chest. And let me tell you, Ms. Jones did NOT disappoint. This baby has all the chaotic, crazy, fucked up goodness that we’ve come to expect and love from Kings and more...So. Much. More that I’m wishing that part two was already on the Kindle. But since it’s not...at least not yet...so until then… Brantley and Saint or as they will probably come to be known ‘Saintley’ To say Bran is complex is the fucking understatement of the decade ~ and considering how crazy its been lately, that’s saying a lot. But with in the dark recesses of not only his heart (which may be black) and his soul (which he may not believe he has anymore) his loyalty runs deep. Saint was fascinating and I honestly adored the girl (Till...

~**~ ARC Review: Savage Devil (Devils of Sun Valley High #2) by Daniela Romero ~**~

***4 ‘Mariposa’ Stars*** After finishing Wicked Devil I knew I’d be making sure I got my hands on any and all the books in this series because I loved the Devil’s crew so much and this book did not disappoint. I was hooked on Bibi and Emilio from the first page and loved getting hang out with the crew as they rallied around those they call their own. I really liked Bibi and Emilio. They’ve both been through a lot in their lives ~ not including being teen parents ~ and yet they have their eyes on a future that’s bright and hopeful. I loved Bibi’s fire and how she did her best to keep things in perspective. Emilio had his moments, but his loyalty and protectiveness to those he calls his own had me loving him. Their journey was a rocky one, but I gotta say that I liked how a lot of it played out. I liked how the teen pregnancy/surprise you’re a daddy thing played out because it did go how I thought it would, but also not and I liked how that all played out. As for Emilio and Bibi’s relati...

~**~ ARC Review: Dearest Josephine by Caroline George ~**~

***4 ‘Meeting is Enough’ Stars*** The cover was the lure and the mysterious love letters and novel were the hook (also, I do love me some chocolate and Earl Grey tea). And I have to say that I ended up enjoying Josie and Elias’s somewhat unconventional, but absolutely fascinating journey of self discovery. And that’s what this book really is about. Yes, there is romance, and it does play a role in their lives and their evolution, but this story is really about Josie and Elias finding themselves through words. They’ve both been through a lot and are at a crossroads in their lives ~ Elias’s as he is writing the letters and novel and Josie when she happens upon them ~ and how with each letter, and chapter written and read they evolve and grow. Sometimes their “growth” isn’t in a necessarily positive direction, but each step opens them up to more possibilities until they truly find themselves and their happy. I know that doesn’t explain much, but doing more than that may possibly ruin thei...

~**~ ARC Review: Cruel Boy by Clarissa Wild ~**~

***4 Stars*** Nothing can ever be easy, can it? Those were the words that popped up in my head many, many times while going on this journey with Nate and Sam, because, heaven help me. Nate did NOT make anything easy. True, he was stuck between a rock and a hard place, but he made things so much more difficult than they needed to be, more interesting for sure. But even though I desperately wanted to shake some sense into him,  I couldn’t keep from turning the pages because the need to find out the ‘secret’ was strong and in the end, it was quite a doozy! Nate and Sam were quite the pair. I really liked them. Both, at their very cores, are good people who are dealing with some stressful situations. Nate’s way of dealing is to dig deep into his baser urges ~ which he finds are a bit dark ~ and yet still finds a way to keep his heart from going absolutely black. Sam doesn’t pull any punches, even when she’d prefer to be invisible. She isn’t afraid to let everyone know how s...

~**~ Release Blitz for First and Forever (Heartache Duet #2) by Jay McLean w/ Review ~**~

Ava Diaz needs saving. She just doesn’t know it yet. Just like she doesn’t know a thing about the boy she sits next to on the first day of senior year. He thinks she’s a brat. She thinks he’s entitled. Maybe first impressions don’t always last… Because Connor Ledger’s about to save her. He just doesn’t know why. ***5 ‘The Happiness’ Stars*** I finished this baby in no time flat. Once I started it, I couldn’t (wouldn’t) put it down. I HAD to know what else would happen between Ava and Connor and just how they would get their HEA, because seriously, if any two people deserved one, it’s them. But, see, this book was so much more than just the two of them. It was needing to know what would also become of Miss D and Trevor, because their lives and happiness became just as important to me as Ava and Connor’s and lemme tell you, this one was an insanely intense emotional rollercoaster of a ride. It wasn’t only the intense highs and lows t...
