~**~ ARC Review: Cruel Devil (Duet #1) by Daniela Romero ~**~

***4 Stars*** Oh, Kasey and Dominique. You just have to make things even more complicated than they already are don’t cha? But this is why this is a duet...so… I’ve loved both Kasey and Dom since first meeting them. They are loyal to those they call their own and, despite how they treat each other, they have no problem stepping up to the plate for them. They both also wear masks and hide who they are and how they feel because their worlds, while pretty on the outside, aren’t as golden on the inside.  Their journey, thus far, is definitely complicated, but there is a connection that they have that has me believing that it they can find a way to get out of their own ways and be honest, that they’ll get the HEA they definitely deserve. This was a quick read, and a great addition to the series. While there were a few things I wasn’t surprised by, there was one that had me going “Whoa” because that definitely causes a huge upheaval (total understatement) in more than one life and I have...

~**~ ARC Review: Savage Devil (Devils of Sun Valley High #2) by Daniela Romero ~**~

***4 ‘Mariposa’ Stars*** After finishing Wicked Devil I knew I’d be making sure I got my hands on any and all the books in this series because I loved the Devil’s crew so much and this book did not disappoint. I was hooked on Bibi and Emilio from the first page and loved getting hang out with the crew as they rallied around those they call their own. I really liked Bibi and Emilio. They’ve both been through a lot in their lives ~ not including being teen parents ~ and yet they have their eyes on a future that’s bright and hopeful. I loved Bibi’s fire and how she did her best to keep things in perspective. Emilio had his moments, but his loyalty and protectiveness to those he calls his own had me loving him. Their journey was a rocky one, but I gotta say that I liked how a lot of it played out. I liked how the teen pregnancy/surprise you’re a daddy thing played out because it did go how I thought it would, but also not and I liked how that all played out. As for Emilio and Bibi’s relati...

~**~ ARC Review: Wicked Devil (Devils of Sun Valley High #1) by Daniela Romero ~**~

***4.5 ‘Vanilla’ Stars*** I’ll admit that I’m not a huge fan of bully romances. I’ll read them if they are by my one click authors, but most of the time I just pass them by. But this one, this one caught my attention. Actually, it was the last two sentences of the description that hooked me and I decided to give it a go with no real expectations, just the hope that I would enjoy it in the end. Well, I more than enjoyed it. I went down the rabbit hole and didn’t want to come out and was quite disappointed when there were no more words to read. I ADORED Allie. ADORED the girl. She is that down to earth girl who is comfortable in her own skin. Her world has gone sideways in a big way, but she takes it in stride and does what needs to be done to keep her head high. Roman. Okay. Here’s the thing with Roman. In a lot of ways he is the big bad, he made my eyes hurt from all the rolling he caused and the urge to reach out and Gibbs smack was strong ~ oh so strong ~ and yet, it was hard not to ...
