~**~ ARC Review: Storm Echo (Psy-Changling Trinity #6) by Nalini Singh ~**~

***5 ‘Today and Tomorrow and Always’ Stars*** This right here is why I’m a full on fan girl of this series. The storyline, the characters, how the author keeps all the various and numerous connections straight while making new ones…all of it kept me turning the pages and had me doing a re-read as soon as I finished because it was just that damn good and I didn’t want to say good-bye. I adored Ivan and Lei. Ivan being a Mercant is already a vote in his favor ~ because who doesn’t love the Mercants? ~ his loyalty to family and need to protect, not only his family but he found a very interesting kinship with was a huge draw. Lei was light, happiness and a sweet sassyness that had me smiling, even when her light was dimmed due to an extreme loss. Their journey to their HEA was a lot of fun to experience. I loved how they first collided and the connection it started between them. And while their second collision was not as joyous, it only strengthened the bond between them and as they got t...

~**~ ARC Review: Kiss Hard (Hard Play #4) by Nalini Singh ~**~

***5 ‘Favorite Nemesis’ Stars*** Ever since first “meeting” Danny and Catie, or I should say, getting to witness Danny and Catie meeting for the first time in Cherish Hard, I had a feeling that one day there was a possibility they could be each other’s HEA. Then came Love Hard and before I was even half way, I knew that the final book in the series would be them, there was no way it couldn’t be…the only question was what would it take to get the staunch “Frenemies” to start to see each other as lovers? Well, I gotta give the author big props on going where she went, because I never would have guessed “that” but it definitely did the job. Now, for Danny and Catie. I adored both of them. I adored them from the first time I met them and it’s been a lot of fun to see them grow from teens into adults. They both have huge hearts, are witty, snarky and just all around good people. But it was fun, and a little heartbreaking, to go deeper with both of them. See what really makes them tick and w...

~**~ ARC Review: Love Hard (Hard Play #3) by Nalini Singh ~**~

***5 Stars*** #fangirldown #fangirldown This isn’t even a hangover situation. This is pure, unadulterated book happiness. I swear my cheeks hurt from all the stupid, dopey grinning I was doing while reading this baby. I not only got an amazing second chance at love/frenemies to lovers/single parent romance, but got to spend time with a whole bunch of characters I adore and got to meet more that have me crossing my toes that the author has something up her sleeves for them in the future because I simply need more of them all. I ADORED Jacob and Juliette. ADORED. Jake is, simply put, a really good man. He obliterated my ovaries anytime he was with his adorable daughter, Esme, but it was how protective he was with those he called his own that had me all kinds of twitterpated. Jules is a force to be reckoned with. This woman owns all that she is and isn’t afraid to speak her mind ~ whether it be snarky or sweet ~ she gives as good as she gets, and then some. I thoroughly ...

~**~ ARC Review: Archangel’s War (Guild Hunter #12) by Nalini Singh w/ Excerpt ~**~

***5 ‘For Your Anger and Your Love Both’ Stars*** For better or worse THIS is the book many have been waiting for and Ms. Singh went BIG. Oh. So. Big. I mean...74 chapters! True not all of them are long, but 74 chapters and holy hell do they all pack a punch. They brought out goofy, cheek creasing smiles. Utter frustration. Heart melting swoons. Heated anger. Horror. And heartbreak. But then again. This is war. War is destruction, chaos, love, hate, pain and joy. It exposes secrets while burying others. And it brings about change. Now, not everything changes, there are some truths that are untouchable, unchangeable, but lots happen and, in all honesty, I’m still processing it all. The minefield in this one was huge, but it all worked for me. This does not mean that I was happy with all that happened, my reactions were numerous and varied, but I cannot deny that, in the end, they all needed to happen for this series to move forward. I know this review is vague, but...

~**~ ARC Review: Archangel’s Prophecy (Guild Hunter #11) by Nalini Singh w/ Excerpt ~**~

***5 ‘Fear Will Not Ruin Us’ Stars*** Really? REALLY? That’s where things end off?!?!? *Takes a deep breath and lets it out* Ok, so, this book took me on one hell of a ride. I mean between the synopsis and the first lines of some of the reviews already posted simply from scrolling through GR, (I refused to read any in full and kept scrolling) I knew it would be intense, but I wasn’t fully prepared for it all. I laughed (super-parasites), I got all kinds of swoony and twitterpated but I also got all growly and even had the whole sniffly, rapid eye blinking pretending I had dust in my eyes thing going on. This hit all my buttons and with that ending? Yeah, I need the next book in the series like...yesterday. Now, I’m a fangirl of the author and the series, so you can imagine how excited I get when the next book in the series is announced. I don’t care if it’s a book focused on Raphael or Elena or on another couple, I simply adore the world of the Guild Hunter and all the cr...

~**~ ARC Review: Rebel Hard (Hard Play #2) by Nalini Singh ~**~

***5 ‘You’re Mine’ Stars*** The whole cheeks hurting because I couldn’t stop doing the dopey grinning thing was real. Even now, after a team workout session that handed me my ass, I’m grinning like a loon as I think about how hard I swooned and laughed over Rebel Hard and how I failed miserably at #multitasking because I couldn’t put the book down. It was all kinds of fun, sweet and filled with a huge dose of family and heart that was like a drug for me and I was addicted from the very first page. I adored Nayna and Raj. Nayna was something of an enigma. There was a sweet and alluring goodness to her that wasn’t an affectation, but something ingrained into her every cell. And yet in the midst of that was a sassy and fiery woman who wanted to live a life as blinding bright as a Bollywood movie.Raj was gruff, broody and blunt and had moments of ‘insert foot into mouth’ disease that had me sighing in frustration and yet there was an honesty to him, a vulnerable sincerity beneat...
