If you are looking for a psychological suspense, this one definitely fits the bill!
I was hooked from the start and kept me turning the pages as I flip flopped back and forth over what the hell was going on and who was the puppet master...which was and wasn’t a surprise at the same time, but definitely had me going “Seriously!?!?” when everything came to a head.
I loved Lizzy. Her life was turned upside down in the worst way possible for a child and yet she kept going. Yes, she has walls that are a country mile wide and high, but she’s a fighter and is doing what needs to be done to have a semblance of a life.
The author definitely took me for a ride on this one and I loved every moment as I tried not to figure things out too far in advance, though it was hard not to with all the crazy going on. But all of the characters were very well written, even the ones I wanted to Gibbs smack with a 2x4. I know I didn’t mention the love interest, but I kinda loved him from the start. So, if you’re looking for a story that’ll make your head spin and then explode, this baby is a must read!
