~**~ Short & Sweet Review: Call Me Daddy by Jade West ~**~

***4 ‘No secrets’ Stars***

When Jade West writes a book called “Call Me Daddy” you read it and know full well that she will take you on a journey that may disturb, but will ultimately intrigue and she’s accomplished that here. While this book is definitely not as dark as the ones in her Dirty Bad series, it still delves into what many may consider taboo and disturbing and she does it well because she ends up making you question if it really is taboo and disturbing.

Laine and Nick are both lost, both missing key elements that reside in their very souls and then they collide and the flood gates open to the possibilities they offer each other. Things progress quickly between them and yet it works and it’s quite fascinating to see how quickly they both fall into their new routine. The concept of Daddy play was intriguing and much of what occurred between the two wasn’t really too out there, the sex and how they played was sexy and not too dark, but there was one aspect of their play that had me go “Hhhmmmm...okaaayyy.” but everyone has their kink within their kink.

As with any of Ms. West’s books, you need to have an open mind and this one is no exception. It was a quick, interesting read and if you’re looking for something on the lighter side, though still kinky, to read of Ms. West’s this is the one for you!

I want him to be my first.
I want him to be the one.
I want him to be my everything.

I didn’t expect to spend my eighteenth birthday stranded in the pouring rain with no way to make it home.
I didn’t expect to be rescued from the worst night of my life by the most amazing man I’d ever seen.

His name is Nick, and he says he wants to take care of me, says he’ll look after me, says I don’t need to be alone anymore.

He treats me like a princess, like the fragile little girl he saved from the cold.

But I like him… I like him like that.
I’ve never liked anyone like that before…

And it’s weird, this thing we have…
It’s like I can’t decide how we’re supposed to be… what we are…
Until he says the words…

Call me Daddy.
