~**~ ARC Review: Legs (One Wild Wish #1) by Kelly Siskind ~**~

***4.5 ‘I’ll Untie You’ Stars***

I’m not too sure what I enjoyed the most with this one...Rachel and Jimmy’s journey to their HEA or all of the wine speak going on? I think it’s a pretty even toss up because wine is my go to libation and I love a good romcom and Leg’s definitely hit all the high points. This was a fun, quick, smexy read with just the right amount of angst and a lot of heart filled with characters I became invested in and wanted to keep reading about even after there were no more words to read.

I really liked Jimmy and Rachel, but boy did they take me on a ride. They both have incidents from their past that have cut them deep and molded them into who they are today. Jimmy has found himself and rolled with it, but still holds on to the anger that was the catalyst for his liberation. But despite the anger, his is an honorable, determined and smexy man with a good heart underneath it all. Rachel, on the other had, has taken what happened to her and kept herself on the very straight and narrow and works very hard to not color outside the lines unless pushed by her friends. But beneath the facade is a woman who is kind, with a snarky and quirky sense of humor and zest for life that needs to be released.

Rachel and Jimmy’s journey was a fun one. I love how they collided and the fallout from that was quite amusing. The chemistry between them was intense and the smexy was HAWT. But what I enjoyed the most was how they pushed each other to be more than who they were when they first met. In truth, Rachel grew the most of the two, but Jimmy still had a few lessons to learn and I really liked watching everything go down. There was a nice little twist tossed into the mix that I definitely didn’t see coming, which of course brought about a bit of a road block to their HEA, but I loved how everything worked out in the end because the groveling/apology was perfect!

Legs really was a fun read. There was just enough angst to cause the right amount of eye rolling, but not to where the eyes started hurting, and the right amount of humor and heart to even it all out. I loved all the winespeak...I’m that girl that belongs to quite few wine clubs and loves watching documentaries on the industry and what it takes to be a Sommelier, so I thoroughly enjoyed that aspect of the book.  As for the supporting cast of characters, I loved Ainsley and Gwen, Rachel’s besties, and I’m definitely looking forward to getting my hands on their books and finding out just what their wishes are and what it will take for them to come true.

Running into your one-night stand is a special kind of awkward. Competing against him in a wine tasting contest is delicious torment…

On Rachel’s twenty-seventh birthday, she wishes to finally find a rewarding job. What she doesn’t wish is to drink a boatload of wine, sleep with a tattooed bad boy, and drunk email her boss in one glorious, career-ending move. But the fiasco pushes her to pursue a career inspired by her late father’s love of wine: sommelier.

Unfortunately, she’s competing against her infuriating one-night stand, a man as intoxicating as a Pinot Noir.

Two years ago, Jimmy was set to inherit his family winery. Then it got ripped from his grasp. To close that dark chapter of his life, he plans to win a local sommelier contest and use the press to expose his family’s tainted wines.

Jimmy loves studying the streaks of alcohol that cling to a wineglass, known as the wine’s “legs,” but other shapely legs are stealing his focus. Tantalizing legs. Legs that had wrapped around his waist for one wild night. Jimmy, sadly, has a weakness for legs.

He also hates to lose.
