***5 ‘#TeamDavid’ Stars***

Okaaayyy...I wasn’t expecting that ending...at all...

But I’m getting ahead of myself...kind of.

Give me a second.

Let’s rewind.

I love the Wrights and even though the reason Sutton was getting a book (well, two books) was heartbreaking I couldn’t help but be all kinds of excited for it - especially since David was going to be the man of the hour - and I wasn’t disappointed in anyway. It deals with the loss of a loved one and the emotional rollercoaster that one goes one because of it, but it was tempered with humor, heart, hope and a nice dose of heat to keep things interesting

I really liked Sutton the first time I met her. I loved that she was a free spirit and had a strong sense of self. The Sutton we meet here is one who is still in mourning and yet is ready to live and be truly happy again. It isn’t easy for her, especially with so many people wanting to put their two cents in, but she listens to her heart and her gut tonsrt her on the right path.

David. I ADORE David. This man is just a really, really good man. He’s compassionate, determined, observant and patient. His past hasn’t been perfect, and he’s made choices that not everyone in his life was a fan of, but he is right where he wants to be.

Their journey, thus far, has been all kinds of swoon worthy. Yes, there were times where the thought of pulling out my hair in frustration was very, very strong (no tossing the Kindle in the freezer because I was work), but it was part of the process, and necessary to get them to the next level. I loved David and Dutton together. There was an easy to their interactions, even as the sexual chemistry between them simmered below the surface. And then came THAT cliffy.
*Deep breath in, deep breath out* yeah that cliffy is a thing and though it was a total WTF moment, it was brilliantly done. So even as I am cursing the author for it, I am also kowtowing down to her for how it all played out.

There is sooooo much more I want to say, but I can’t. So, I really enjoyed Sutton’s journey. I think Ms. Linde did an excellent job with it. I loved hanging out with the Wright’s, their significant others and their friends. Jenny and Annie and Jason was just too cute! So to finish before I spoil something I’m totally #TeamDavid and #TeamSuttonandDavid and I really, REALLY need The Wright One on my Kindle, like, now.
