***5 ‘Playing With Thieves’ Stars***
*Takes a big deep breath and lets it out slowly*
Talk about being at on the edge of your seat with your heart feeling like it’s going to burst out of your chest at any moment type anxiety or is it anticipation?
Both?
We’ll go with both since I swear I feel like I can finally take a true breath and get my heart to calm down because Priest seriously had me going the whole entire time. Whether it was because of the insane sexual chemistry between Priest, Julian and Robbie (or any combo of the three) or from the crazy that was going on throughout the book, I was hooked and didn’t want it to end.
It’s no secret how much I love Priest, Robbie and Julien and this book simply solidified that fact. It is filled with all kinds of tension of all varieties, but what it shows is how much these three fit together. They shouldn’t, at least according to what most believe, but they do. They compliment each other even when they are at odds and find ways to give each other strength while being that safe place to land. And the smexy?? HAWT.
As for all the things that happen in this one. There were some things I could guess at and some that were definitely a surprise, but I really enjoyed how everything worked out ~ even when it was giving me heart palpitations. I loved getting my dose of Tate and Logan and the Bianchi’s and El were lots of fun and then there was a surprise character that I’m crossing my toes we’ll get to know better in future because that one will definitely have a very interesting story to tell.
But all in all, I loved this chapter of The Priest, The Princess and The Prick’s journey and cannot wait to see what’s coming up next!
