~**~ ARC Review: Rock F*ck Club (Rock F*ck Club #3) by Michelle Mankin ~**~

***4.5 ‘Anytime, Anyplace, Anyway’ Stars***

*Big. Deep. Breath IN and OUT*

I swear I have huge case of emotional whiplash going on, my eyes hurt from all the rolling they were doing and the need to grab a spoon and get all stabby is strong right now. And I knew that going in considering how I felt while reading RFC #1 and #2, so I wasn’t necessarily surprised, but DAMN!

And yet….

I had a difficult time putting the thing down.

I mean I was ragey at one point, but was still all kinds of cuddled up in that crazy rabbit hole with my Kindle turning the pages to see what would happen next on this crazy ride because the good, the bad, the ugly and the batshit crazy was simply addicting and I NEEDED to know what would happen next with Marsha the chaos surrounding her.

Marsha. I honestly loved the girl. I did. But boy did she put me through the wringer. I loved her strength and her loyalty to those she calls her own is out of this world beautiful (even if they don’t deserve it) but man, this girl gots a lot of demons. LOTS and it was heartbreaking to see how much they ruled her at times. But watching her slowly ~ oh...so...slowly ~ start to work through things, even when she made choices that had me growling and asking ‘Why?’, made seeing the woman she was always meant to be worth it.

Now for ‘The Guy’. Straight up. I didn’t like for a long, LONG time. Arrogant, destructive, cruel. That’s how I saw him. And he has his “reasons”, some are valid and some fall under the category of ‘you’re a little boy throwing a tantrum because you didn’t get what you want’. But as things progress, and truths were finally spoken, I started to like him. His methods were still all kinds of Neanderthal AF, but the man showed that he can be on the right side of being alpha AF instead of the other.

As for their journey to their HEA? The crazy is strong. The smexy is OMG HAWT and the sweet ~ when it comes is all kinds of swoony, but the crazy is still strong.

The angst and drama are strong in this one. STRONG. Hence my very intense reaction to it. There is a situation that happens and even though I finished the book  and things are resolved I’m still pissed about. I am still offended for Marsha, I am pissed off for Marsha even though the woman drove me batshit crazy for almost the entire book, but I don’t think she deserved THAT. And the fact that THEY did that to her...that’s just a huge NO. (I am obviously not as forgiving as Marsha or the PMS is riding me really hard right now...take your pick) I know it’s vague. But you must experience it for yourself. The bright spot though was Barbara and the filming crew. Barbara is AWESOME. She is my ride or die here. That woman deserves a medal.

So, if you’re looking for an angsty goodness then this baby is for you!

The Gods of Rock Tour.

4 summer concert venues. 10 famous rock stars to f*ck.

Two at a time. Maybe even three.

I know what I like and how to get it.

I’m Marsha West. Raven Winter’s best friend. A sidekick no longer, I’m in the starring role.

I’m going to f*ck whoever I want. However I want. Whenever I want. I have my reasons for being the way I am and doing the things I do. I’ve warned WMO they might have to stretch the rules to keep their TV-MA rating for me.

It’s Rock F*ck Club. Season Two.

What could go wrong?
