Just five months ago, Valentine O'Dell started
working at a very special kind of nightclub – one where you can dance the night
away, or live out your greatest fantasy. She's learned to lose herself to her
nights, forgetting all her day time woes as she charms every man she meets.
It's easy enough to do when she doesn't let her feelings get involved.
Then Ari Sharapov walks in and changes
everything.
Working for his father's law firm has left Ari
with very little control over his life, so when he sees Valentine for the first
time, he sees a girl who is desperate for someone to take care of her. To take
over her. So what he can't get for himself in the day time, he'll simply take
for himself at night. But when power struggles lead to real feelings, who's
actually controlling whom?
Some relationships are better left in the
dark.

Talk about smexy/smutty goodness!
Add in a good dose of heart and some very interesting characters (both good and bad) and this was definitely a fun and interesting read, even if I wanted to gut a certain character with a spoon more than once, that kept me turning those pages and has me quite interested to see how everything will play out in the next book.
Now, Ari and Valentine...I adored Valentine, it was hard not to after learning about all she had been through, what she was going through and just seeing how she took it all in stride, put on her shitkickers and handled her business. She’s sassy with a heart of gold. Ari, well, I wanted to gut him with a spoon. I know he’s got his own ‘issues’ and considering the world he lives in and the way his life has been mapped out for him, I had some empathy for him, but man the asshat alpha AF is in full force with him. As for their journey. This is just part one and regardless of them being opposites in so many ways, they actually flowed well together for me. The smexy was HAWT, they were seriously on fire, and their ‘bantering’ was fun, but watching as the walls started to crack...well, there is potential for so much more between them.
This is a duet, so this one ends on a cliffy of sorts meaning it wasn’t an OMG WTF kind of cliffy, but it is one that has me wanting the next book ASAP to see the crazy they’ll put each other through before getting (hopefully) their HEA.
And as for the supporting cast of characters. They were all quite unique and fascinating in there own ways. There were a few who surpassed Ari on me wanting to gut them with a spoon, but I will admit their...uniqueness did bring life to the story. But I loved Del, Charice, Serge and Bailey and am thrilled that I get to spend more time with them in Day to Night!

Author Bio
Crazy woman
from a remote location in Alaska (where the need for a creative mind is a
necessity!), I have been writing since ... forever? Yeah, that sounds about
right. I have been told that I remind people of Lucille Ball - I also see
shades of Jennifer Saunders, and Denis Leary. So basically, I laugh a lot, I'm
clumsy a lot, and I say the F-word A LOT.
I like dogs
more than I like most people, and I don't trust anyone who doesn't drink. No, I
do not live in an igloo, and no, the sun does not set for six months out of the
year, there's your Alaska lesson for the day. I have mermaid hair - both a
curse and a blessing - and most of the time I talk so fast, even I can't
understand me.
Yeah. I
think that about sums me up.
