~**~ Release Blitz for Wicked Angel (Wicked Horse Vegas #6) by Sawyer Bennett w/ Review ~**~

Wicked Angel (Wicked Horse Vegas, Book #6)

Sawyer Bennett
Release Date: August 6, 2019

Synopsis:
First there was pain, and now there is just… nothing. No one can ever understand the losses I’ve suffered. A solitary existence that consists of my work and the empty house that serves as a constant reminder of all I have lost.

After months of paralyzing emptiness, I turn to The Wicked Horse so I can feel something. Anything, really. Any shred of emotion that will explain why I’m still here. Any justification for why my life was spared and theirs were not.

It’s all in vain. Not even the debauchery of the notorious sex club can fill the hollowness that consumes me.

Until she walks in.

Absolutely perfect. Gorgeous and bends to my will. Gives me her body willingly, while expecting nothing more from me than the pleasure I offer her. And the more she gives, the more I find myself wanting to take.

Wanting to crawl out of my personal hell for this wicked angel.

***5 Stars***

Heart breaking, heart melting and smexy as hell (this last one was a given but needed to be stated), Wicked Angel gave me ALL the feels while raising my temperature in the most titillating of ways.

My heart broke for Benjamin, it did. What he went through, what he lost...it made it easy to understand why he is living the way that he is...but...I also wanted to Gibbs smack some sense into him because he did take some things a bit too far. Thankfully, the kevlar carapace he built around himself does start to crack and what lies beneath is a sweet, vulnerable and deliciously dirty man whose heart may be bruised, but is still golden.

I ADORED Elena. This woman is all kinds of sassy and strong. She works hard, plays hard and owns all that she is and wants. She definitely has her own hang ups, and for reasons that I totally understood, but the walls she has up because of them aren’t as high or impenetrable as she likes to believe they are.

Benjamin and Elena’s first collision was HAWT! OMG was it all kinds of smexy. I mean...get that ice bath ready and/or have your B.O.B. (or significant other) in arms reach… because DAMN! But what comes out of that episode is something that neither thought they wanted, but can’t ignore and watching as they navigate their way through that mine field was everything. And as for that last bump? Alls I can say is that grand gesture was awesome!

I have to say that I didn’t expect all the feels that came Ben and Elena’s journey, but the situations that brought them out were all well done and they really did give a lot of depth to the story. It was fun catching up with Walsh and Jorrie and getting a little bit of Jericho was awesome! I’m now quite interested in August, and even Cage, so it’ll be interesting to see which series they end up in.
