Truth and Lies Duet #2
Authors: K Webster and Nikki Ash
Genre: Romantic Suspense
Release: December 12, 2019
My life was easy, simple, fun.
My life was brutal, horrific, ruthless.
Light.
Dark.
Until I got wrapped up with the wrong people.
Until a beautiful bride was dragged into my life.
Nothing but a piece of property to pay for the sins of my father.
I took her as my prize and made her mine.
I’m to be married off to a handsome monster.
Vengeance never tasted so sweet.
I see his truths every day, and it’s hard not to fall for the enemy.
I see her truths every day, and it’s hard not to fall for a woman who makes me weak.
He won’t let me escape, but I’m not sure I want to.
She can try to run, but I have no intention of ever letting her go.
I wanted to marry for love, but it looks like love is a lie.
I wanted to marry for hate, but it looks like hate is a lie.

***5 ‘A Filthy King and His Adorable Queen’ Stars***

I loved Hidden Truths.

I did.

But I freakin’ ADORED Stolen Lies. I devoured this baby in no time and I really didn’t want to say good-bye to this world and the people in it.

Kostas and Talia. I already loved these two, but this book kicked my love for them up to adoration level. Kostas is still the dark god of the underworld in every way, but seeing the softer side, though still very wicked, of him and simply how much he truly adores his family melted me. And Talia. This woman gets put through the wringer and comes out stronger for it and with much of her golden heart intact.

And as far as their relationship goes. I adored them together.  They accept and love all the various pieces that make them who they are and are each others safe place to land as well as the rock that makes them stronger every day.

Stolen Lies is just as dark and deviant and gory as Hidden Truths was, no surprise there at all, and though I did figure out a few things, there were still enough twists that kept me turning the pages and I loved how everything played out. And as for the secondary characters...I’m really hoping that this isn’t a true good-bye to this world because there are a few people I really, REALLY want more of *cough* Adrian *cough* Phoenix *cough* so I’m crossing my toes that we’ll get to spend some time in this world in the future.
