Little Hoodlum

***4.5 Stars***
Whoa...this baby got intense, not that I’m surprised considering all that happened in the first book, but man, lots goes on in this baby (Outside of Jordy and Roux’s relationship) that definitely kept me on my toes and turning those pages until the very end.
I loved Jordy and Roux. Jordy definitely frustrated me with some of his decisions, but he is a good man who protects those he loves, even if it could be detrimental to his own heart. Roux is a force. She loves hard and is loyal to a fault. But despite her having to grow up faster than most, she still has those teenage moments that had me doing the deep sigh, shake the head thing.
As for their journey to their HEA, outside of the crazy chaos going on around them, I really liked Jordy and Roux together. It may sound silly, but they were really meant to be a couple. They just had to go through a lot to get there. I love how protective they were of each other and how, after a few stumbles, they truly opened up to each other and were open and honest about their feelings. There were many, MANY bumps in their road, the age thing and the whole he’s her brother’s bestie were actually minor in the big scheme of things, but in the end I loved that they got the HEA they deserved.
A LOT goes on in this baby A LOT and in all honesty, there were times when it got in the way of Roux and Jordy for me. Everything that happens does have a connection to the two of them in one way or another, but there were a couple of things I could have done without. But as for the big plotline in this one, I like how it played out and the twists in it were done very well. As for the rest of the Hoodlum’s, I loved catching up and hanging out with Roan, Hollis, Cal and Terrance and I’m quite interested to see what the future holds for both Charlotte and Penny. But I have to admit, that while many of the ‘adults’ in this book were disappointing because they definitely didn’t adult well, I LOVED Jace ~ LOVED and am actually quite intrigued by Garrett, so bring on Campfire Chaos!
