Seventh Circle
Violence Also Known As Ezra Cross
He’s one of a pair. Identical twin to Damon. And an enforcer for the Inferno if one is ever needed.
I knew better than to get involved with him. With his aggression. With the constant fights. With the games the twins were known to play with every woman stupid enough to fall for them.
We made a mistake when we met again as adults. I fell in love. He fell in love. His brother fell in love, too.
What used to be a good time is now a tragedy.
Our story is messy. It’s cruel. It’s forbidden.
Despite all that, Ezra refuses to let go.
*** Each novel in the series depicts a unique romance, but the plots through each book connect in one world. For the best experience, read the series in order. Nine Dangerous Men. Nine Unrepentant Sinners. Nine Irresistible Manipulators.

***5 ‘You Were Going the Wrong Way’ Stars***

The feels.

Serious. THE FEELS.

I’ve been invested in this series since reading the prequel and I can honestly say that while I loved the first two books in the series, neither of them hit my buttons like this one did. Evie, Ezra and Damon did me in the best of ways and then some.

Evie and Ezra. I freakin’ adored these two. They drove me batshitcrazy and had me wanting to reach into the Kindle and Gibbs smack them for a plethora of reasons, but they were everything. Evie is so much more than all but those extremely close to her will ever know. She’s had her life mapped out for her since before birth and yet the fire inside her hasn’t been extinguished. She may not always make the best choices, but they are hers and hers alone. Ezra is beautiful chaos. His life has been brutal and he tends to be more beast than man at times, but his heart is a lot less black than most realize. I won’t deny that I spent much of the book growling at him, but I also melted for him just as much as his point of view shifted.

I have to admit that I was a bit...wary of diving into this book because the whole love triangle trope isn’t my fav, but I have to say I really liked how things played out. The one issue I tend to have with love triangles didn’t happen here ~ won’t/can’t get into it because it could be spoilery ~ and it definitely swept away my issues I had. With that said Evie and Ezra were made for each other. They knew each other down to their bones ~ the good, the bad, the ugly ~ and accepted it all, even when they didn’t believe they wanted to. The chemistry between them was hot, the bantering a lot of fun and I’m very happy with where they were at in the end.

As for the series arc: Not many, or any for that matter, answers to questions regarding what the fuck is going on were exposed to the light. And truth be told, more questions pop up, so this felt more like a bridge style story to me where nothing is truly resolved, but it does have me wanting/needing more.

And then there are the Inferno and those that are in their sphere ~ whether they want to be or not. This book runs concurrently with Treachery and Fraud, so you’ll be getting another point of view of certain situations what occurred in them ~ and let me tell you that there are a couple in particular that I’m all kinds of happy to have gotten a bit more info about. It was fun to get a different view of both Gabe and Tanner. I’m STILL not all that thrilled with Mason. Sawyer and Taylor are becoming more interesting as the story progresses. Damon ~ I seriously NEED his book like yesterday because he kinda did me in. And though Priest isn’t a part of the Inferno, he totally needs his own book one day. And then there is Shane and alls I can say is that I’m extremely happy that his book is next!
