The author warned that one would be needing quite a bit of tissue while reading this one, and I’m happy I heeded that warning because crying at work while reading isn’t something that I like doing.

BUT

She didn’t warn about my ovaries exploding ~ or how often that would be happening ~ because OMG...my ovaries have not yet recovered and it’s been a couple days AND I read another book in that time frame...so yeah. Prepare to have your ovaries explode and your heart go all mushy because you are in for one hell of a ride.

I ADORED Tank aka Benson and Leah. Tank is truly that good man who will help those in need, no matter what that need is. He’s a big, gruff, teddy bear and is definitely book boyfriend goodness. Leah is strong and focused. She’s been through a lot considering the years she’s walked this earth, but everything she does is to better the life of those she cares about the most.

Their journey to their HEA totally did my heart (and my eyes) in, but it was so worth it. There is so much I want to say about the goodness that was Tank and Leah ~ as well as Twitch and Cheeky ~ but this is one that you must experience as blindly as possible, but I can tell you that I loved how everything turned out for them.

This was a great read, despite how many times my eyes got all teary while reading. There are some heavy and intense moments, but the sweet and funny ones balance it all out. And then there are the Wicked’s and the Dark Knights. I definitely need a family tree made to keep everyone straight, but I simply adored getting to hang out with them and getting to know all of them that much better and cannot wait to get my hands on the next book!
