***4.5 ‘From You, I’d Beg for Them’ Stars***
This was a really fun read, not that I doubted it would be. The glimpses of Nico and Violet in the previous books had me crossing my toes that they’d get their own HEA’s and then getting all excited when it came out that were indeed destined to be together and they did not disappoint. They had me laughing, swooning and rolling my eyes in frustration as the friendzone that they had created around each other finally crumbled to the ground.
I loved Nico and Violet. Nico is protective, charming and, despite all the wolfie-ness about him, has the patience of a saint (kind of). He sees quite a bit of what is going on with others, but when it revolves around him, he’s a bit shortsighted. Violet is fierce. She is snarky, sweet and loves hard. But she also has a problem with being shortsighted and only seeing what she wants at times.
Their journey to their HEA was fun and frustrating all at the same time. I loved their flow and their bantering. They did take their sweet time in figuring out that there was way more going on between them though and some of the things that they both did, or didn’t do, drove me batshitcrazy, but once they stopped being their own worst enemies, everything fell into place and I loved how everything worked out for them in the end.
This was a great addition to the series. We get to know the world a little bit more and the issues that plague all the Supers. And speaking of...I loved catching up with Mateo and Evie and Dev and Izzy and seeing how their relationships are going, it was fun to get to know the crew at the Cauldron a little better as well as the Grims. And then there are the rest of the Savoie sisters. It’s hard not to love Jules, Clara and Livvy ~ though Livvy is a handful (in a good way) ~ and I’m totally looking forward to seeing which males will claim all of their hearts!

Violet Savoie has a plan. A dream, rather. To open her own tattoo shop, which caters to supernaturals in need of permanent charms. As a powerful Seer, she has the potent magic to cast every kind of spell. Except the kind to give werewolves control over their beastly side. And her business partner Nico needs help in the worst kind of way.
Nico Cruz has a secret. A motive, rather. To subtly stalk and seduce Violet until she finally recognizes they are fated to be together. Ever since their heated encounter in Austin on New Year’s Eve two years earlier, he’s been dying to get his hands—and his tongue—back on her body. He knows a woman like Violet can’t be courted in the usual way. Luckily, Nico has no scruples about misbehaving to get what he wants.
But when his former pack roams into town, and an old friend is far too interested in Violet, his focus shifts to the threat venturing into his territory. Nico may come across as the quiet, broody one, but the intruders are about to regret stepping foot in New Orleans. And when Violet goes missing, no charm or spell can keep Nico’s wolf at bay.
