This book definitely gave me a few “Whoa’s”...okay, a lot of “Whoa’s” which made it hard to put down, but also made it hard to pick up because, you know, life gets in the way. But when I could finally just read, I thoroughly enjoyed the ride.

The characters, their pasts, their present, the situations they find themselves in and the twists and turns along the way kept me turning the pages to see what was truly going on and how it would work out for our MC’s. As for those MC’s ~ I’m being more vague than usual so as not to give anything away ~ but I adored them both. Life has knocked them around a lot, but they pick themselves up and keep on going. They may have met under interesting circumstances, but they ended up having a flow I really liked and I liked how everything worked out in the end.

I’ve read a decent cross section of the author’s books and while I will always make grabby hands at what she puts out into the world, I do find that I enjoy her romantic suspense the most, and this one has a huge dose of suspense. As for the supporting cast of characters, they were all well written and there are a couplefew I wouldn’t mind spending more time with in the future. So, if you’re looking for a romantic suspense, this is a must click!
